I see it everywhere, I know im going to kick (or slap) myself once I figure out what it means, but can anyone without flaming (I know, it won't happen) tell me what ELO stands for? I'd very much appriciate it ^^

Nothing, it's incorrectly being spelled as an acronym when it's just Elo, the last name of the guy that created it.

It's not an acronym, it's a word. It refers to the Elo rating system. Wikipedia can give you details about that, if you'd like.

LoL's matchmaking uses a modified version of the Elo rating system.
