****, had a whole bunch typed out and the back button on my mouse got pushed. Now I have to retype ****. **** **** ****

Okay, I'm just gonna bullet this. I don't think the Void have a hand in Kalamanda quite like you believe, but I think you're close. Okay, so first things first.

-LeBlanc disguised as Jarvan IV and gave an order to a Demacian soldier to start the frame up
-Swain "discovers" said soldier, presents him as evidence, and suggests unbiased imprisonment by local authority
-LeBlanc disguised as Jarvan IV delays interrogation until the soldier can be killed off (via Nyzer poison)
-LeBlanc disguised as Jarvan IV is also the one that initiates first attack and starts the war
-This is all to make Demacia look like the bad guy.

Alright, now I'm going to bring some other stuff up.

Swain's background lore
-he was a tough as nails soldier with a pet bird who got a crippling leg wound
-he disappears for awhile, then finally resurfaces in the Noxus military where he gets some power, he's in no records for a period of time
-how he obtained his unique bird powers is never explained
-Swain quickly rises through the ranks, until he is halted from participating in the Ionian invasion, supposedly through "bureaucratic subversion"

Now we need to look at LeBlanc's League Judgement
-in LeBlanc's memory, we learn Swain was once part of the Black Rose, but has now "become something greater."
-Swain and LeBlanc bring up Darkwill has ousted them of something
-Swain invites Du Couteau in, Leblanc says he's just Darkwill's lapdog, but Swain thinks otherwise, noting Couteau's "noble blood."
-This event had to happen before 29October, 20 CLE (the league judgement date)

Now let's look at Cassiopeia's league judgement
-In it, Du Couteau hands her a letter, saying it will help her if something should happen to him. The letter says "Transcendence Way, the Ivory Ward, 5:00 PM." and has the symbol of the Black Rose on it.

Now let's go to JoJ Issue 11, where Couteau is reported missing.
-Couteau is last seen in the Ivory Ward, nervously checking his watch then goes missing
-Now a replacement for Couteau needs to be found, a ceremony is held with the honor going to Swain, the first advancement in power he's received since the halt in Ionia
-Swain shows up with LeBlanc at his side, the first time she's been seen in decades
-7December, 20CLE is the date of this issue (therefore it's definitely after Couteau has already gone in cahoots with Swain and LeBlanc)

Now, there is 1 thing we don't know. It could be Couteau was still working with LeBlanc and Swain, and intentionally went into hiding or was kidnapped/killed to allow Swain to take his seat. Alternatively, Couteau may have realized something about Swain and LeBlanc and high tailed it. Regardless of weather it's the former or the latter, this is where I start grabbing straws and inserting the Void into things.

-Vayne is after the Black Rose, but her primary dealing is with things of unnatural evil, not political factions, yet we know in the hidden message in JoJ issue 24 she's on to something with the Black Rose

-It is possible Swain (and possibly LeBlanc) are actually allied with the Void.
-The Void would be the source of Swain's mysterious powers showing up (it's also a symbiosis type deal with his bird, and Malz does have a sort of symbiosis type relation to Kog'Maw.) This is what Swain meant by "becoming something greater."
-It's not the Void threatening the Black Rose, it's the Black Rose allied with the Void, which is why Vayne is looking into them so hard

Now, let's look at JoJ issue 14
-During the ritual in which Malzahar tries to sacrifice Kassadin's daughter, Kassadin is made out to be the bad guy. The Zaun Security Supervisor specifically states they are after Kassadin, not Malzahar. In fact, they completely down play Malz role in the crime
-Swain in a High General at this point, with political influence
-Zaun is an ally of Noxus
-Why would anyone ignore the summoning of an extra planar army, being, or power, unless someone high up said to?

Basically what I'm getting at is Swain, and possibly the Black Rose in it's entirety, are maneuvering to take Noxus, but Swain himself is actually allied with the Void, LeBlanc may or may not be. Darkwill could have realized or suspect this, which is why it was him who put a halt to Swain's rise of power before the Ionian invasion. He couldn't have just retired him after all, Swain was a highly revered and decorated general with outstanding success. So he does the next best thing, pacify him.

Sometime between the Ionian invasion and the grudge match, Swain and LeBlanc have their meeting and bring in Du Couteau. Du Couteau presumably chooses to aid them, seeing as he responded to the Ivory Tower summons for one reason or another. Either Couteau went into hiding to help Swain move up the ranks, he was kidnapped/killed to help Swain move further up the ranks, or he realized the Void was involved somehow and hightailed it, fearing for his life and realizing Swain needed his position and that could mean taking his life through overt means to get it. Darkwill is forced to choose Swain as his fill in for High General, being the next most recognized and decorated General in the land after Couteau.

Then Darkwill winds up dead with his escort. However, he only would have gone out had such a ruckus been raised in Kalamanda to begin with. JoJ issue 23 specifically states Darkwill hadn't left the castle since the formation of the League two decades ago. So something big would have had to occur to get him out of there and in the open, IE Kalamanda. Either one of two things happened here. Either Darkwill was well and truly killed, possibly by Swain & LeBlanc, and perhaps or perhaps not Void forces that were allied with them. Alternatively, Darkwill may have never left the castle. After all, he left in a covered carriage, and the bodies were burned by Swain shortly thereafter as mentioned in the next issue (JoJ 24.) Darkwill may not have even been there.

Regardless, Darkwill is declared dead. The star High General and League Champion Jericho Swain is the one on the Battlefields of Kalamanda representing all of Noxus in the latest war time effort, having already received the next best seat under the Eternal General, the cabinet position of High General, just a few months ago. With his past military record, his present record in Kalamanda, and his "just under" status to Darkwill, he makes an excellent candidate for the next Eternal General.

Ultimately, it all still leads up to one thing. Swain and LeBlanc are trying to take over Noxus. Either Swain is allied with the Void, which is why Malz was allowed to try and summon something from the void (be it an army or a single power force,) and it's why Darkwill's (possible) death was so swift and clean, or Swain and LeBlanc really are just Black Rose members trying to usurp the thrown for the sake of the Black Rose and there's no actual Void influence. Either way, it's looking like Swain really will get the spot of Eternal General to me, be it the Void is having a hand in taking over Noxus or not.

I kind of dropped the whole "Void's behind it all" theory. I still have my opinion concerning it, but i dropped most of it.

I think it's an extreme far shot to consider the Void and the Black Rose / Swain are allies in all of this.

The news of the Void i think is to make people be interested in the movements of their members, but all in all it's just filler until the next plot arc (Which I think will concern the Void).

It's my opinion that most likely the Void isn't involved, but I admit for a very slim chance of it. Like I said though, it was grabbing at straws to being with. Regardless, everything outside the Void lines up pretty heavily.

Can i just ask, what happened to the ship that was attacked in one of the early JoJ articles. I don't remember anything coming from that.

The ship in the beginning was just...an attack. I think it was the first JoJ article, and it was really just sort of like... "Hey, we're gonna kick things off, there's alot of problems, and people hate each other"

Added Decoded version.

Quarter Egress, Quarter to Clutter, and Opal Market are speculated, but the description seems pretty agreeable from the thread created, though if any more information surfaces i'll change.

Keep in mind Quarter = fourth = Jarvan IV

I got the idea that all the strange things happening will eventually lead up to a huge climax where *gasp* 5 new champions (from void probly) will be introduced in the form of a Riot vs Pros match in the Magma Chamber.

Im quite sure that Quarter Egress is a refrence to the point where Jarvan IV is no longer Jarvan and has been replaced by Le Blanc. Quarter of course a reference of Jarvan and Egress meaning to leave.

So from their we can presume that the second instance of Quater is also a Jarvan Reference and presumably clutter is a reference to a location of some kind. Clearly meaning Jarvan is to be moved.

Finally Opal Market is likely a reference to the Ivory ward market where the General went missing due to ivory and opal sharing the same color,it also seems to be the location of a black rose base/meeting place as it is where he tells cass to go should she ever need help.

Also this is a long shot but does anyone believe that General Marcus Du Couteau could be Mordekaiser? they retconed his story from the Shadow Isles to appearing in Noxus and he is said to have a noble stance (swain refrence Du Couteau as being different and having noble blood) and he is also described as having the characteristics of a General.

Added portion in regards to the Ivory Ward being destroyed. We don't have alot of info, other than Talon was there (The dagger in the image).
