Last patch we introduced some bonuses to the team when an ally leaves, additional gold and additional experience. The bonuses were too large and resulted in the team of 4 having more than a fighting chance. We'll definitely keep our eye on this system, but for now the team with a leaver should still be in better shape than two or three weekends ago.

* Increased Cooldown from 13/12/11/10/9 to 14/13/12/11/10
* Damage now scales by range (more damage the closer you are)
* Increased Damage from 80/130/180/230/280 to 80/160/240/320/400
* Reduced Max Stun from 2.5 to 2

Are you serious Riot? 400 damage with a normal skill? HELLO!

So maybe you could only introduce the bonus gold when there are 2+ leavers? I had a game last night that ended up 3v5, and though we still lost, we did a lot better due to being able to keep pace on gold gain.

Not saying this makes it balanced, but now that dmg reverse scales by range, it seems that you could either use Dazzle point blank for dmg (but only .5 second stun) or ranged for the stun (but some low amt of dmg which is unknown at this point). I think this is pretty cool, but that doesn't mean that 400 dmg is justified.
