Look, if you think elo is not a fair judge of player's skill, then I have no idea why you think kill/death numbers are a fair judge either.

This is a TEAM GAME, whereby the only way you can WIN the game is by destroying the enemy NEXUS. Kills, farm, towers, baron, dragon, buffs, etc., are all things that can help you kill the enemy nexus, but none of them by themselves will win you a game.

Why does having a good kill/death ratio in a couple of games "prove" that you are more skillful than your elo indicates? Why is it any more accurate? If you object to individual elo ratings in a team-based games, then why use INDIVIDUAL kill/deaths to prove how good you are at the same TEAM-BASED gamed?

Elo is designed for 1v1, not for team games, elo means nothings. And the "skill" cap in this game is so low, in other mobas you can own a player with less "skill" from the beginning. In this game just play defensively and last hit... Is a fact a 1800 ranked player its not very different to 1000.

Sneaks, I was there in your place, I'm at around 850 ELO and climbing from below 600.

I got my jump start with Lux and I highly advise it at that level. You can do many things to help carry a game of that pathetic level with Lux, such as use ur ult to push multiple lanes simultaneously, shield your moronic allies, and lay down enough slow/snares 2 kite the **** out of the enemy while blowing them up every 24 seconds with ur ulti.

Basically, Lux may not be great at high ELO, but where you're at if you learn 2 play her well and try to be a leader on your team, they'll quickly figure out following you and helping you is the road to victory. Get ur team to do dragon as quickly as possible, guide them to baron etc. I learned my personal level of play was NOT going to be enough to raise ELO once I got this low and being a leader and directing your teammates if they need direction is the only way to start climbing ELO again. lay wards, as many as you can reliably afford, ask others to help, do objectives and generally just constantly think about the objectives rather then how bad ur top lane might be feeding, etc etc.

If you wanna duo some together I'm sure we could squeak out a couple hundred ELO together.

And to settle the KS argument, KS stands for KILL SECURED, to anyone with a brain. Ideally yes you let the carries get the kills, and kills can be stolen. BUT ALWAYS, ALWAYS better to ensure the kill and collect more gold collectively as a team then vice versa, so whining about KS's etc is just silly. If you were so good you'd get enough kills to not care anyways wouldn't you?

i was surprised how good lux is... so im taking a break form ranked and realy learning to play her. im also sendign my envy 15 back to hp rly soon, so ill have to play on a older laptop, and i might not play ranked untill i get my envy back. ty for the help

today ive been meesing around with eve, had a loss, due to a really bad ali who feed 10 left.... and i dint play great in that game but it was so little fun i forgot to ss it. ive been toying with the ide of a jugleing eve but ive also noticed at this elo its hard to get people to help you start at blue buff, and she seems so weak at the start that it seems like feeders lose the game before im able to do much about it.

lol sn3aks is only posting the games where he does OK, and has a bad team, instead of these games

hey troll did you notice that in the post right before yours i did say what happened in that game? ali went and died 10 times in a row feeding an basically leaving me solo all game, till he left later... id like to see youplay eve in a 2v1 lane and do any better.

its pretty pathetic that you have to lie and say im doing something im not... very said... proves you are just a troll with no real argument, as if you have a good argument you wouldn't need to try and paint me as dishonest when i already admitted to playing a single bad ranked game... tr0lololol as much as u want. only makes you look bad.

People that run to the forums and claim Elo hell doesn't exist don't play ranked games or got lucky. Realistically, most of them don't play ranked games. If you check their profiles, usually you find that they have played less a hundred.

Basically, their just scrubs that like to wag their tongues off. You don't really need to prove Elo hell. Everyone who actually plays the game knows what it is. Its the bracket at which there are so many leavers, feeders, and trolls that games are decided purely based on whose team they are on.

Personally I've played in brackets from three digits to pretty high. While I am pretty much good enough to carry three digits, getting from 1200=>1400 has been luck every time I've done it, and sometimes takes dozens and dozens of games.

thanks for posting the truth... i shouldnt feed stupid trolls.

long post

Recently climbed too 1000, then had 3 losses strait, 2 of them just guys who were duo' que and ran around together rather than push then 1 leave lane to counter jungle help mid etc, was sad, i mean 2 top when you have a jungler??? realy, no idea about dragon etc.

but after those 3 consective losses i another win, where we had a afk Xin for 10 mins. then they had a DC morde, whome as Jarvin solo top i pushed him outa farming. (not hard to do)

basicly carried the team as a tank. i always try to play a tank. it usually means you can off hand kills to your team mates, let them buy a item to do more dmg. i only got 15 kills for last hitting get aways so we could push. cause i was at the for front and dragon strike last hits like a cannon. leading to me being so unkillable and dealing jarvs CC all at the right times.

the game looked sure a loss at the beginning from my team, but annie got back on her legs, xin decided he diden't want to get reported and DB while we 4v5 them with a TF on their team, whom i might add coulden't BD to save his ass.... then again we had lanes pushed and got baron twice, nuff said.

so even on a 4v5 i pulled a win. how? know how to stop morde from his farming. TF on their side made it a 4v4, we all sucked up and diden't rage xin and we had baby sat him (we all assumed he was 12-14 or something by his kid attitude). we played smart, bought wards, i played the tank so i could initiate the fights where i thought they were best cause i have the knowledge when we can win and we can't, the fact that my team was competent enough not to fight without me astounded me, instead they just poked till ww used his ult which i sub knocked him out of.or he got stunned

we discussed before the game our choices. we had lots of AoE and decnet CC on almost all characters. just enough to win fights we chose to fight in and i was captian so a banned whom i tohught appropriate vs the team comp my team was thinking of. knowing in low elo chances of the enemy countering properly would be poor

Jarvin is an awesome AD tank, i highly recommend you look at him, no one bans him low ELO they go taunt and mumu chars. which are not as good. the j-man is banned 1700+ common enough. and for a reason, he is nasty.

i had come off a 10 win streak before my 3 losses. and lost 40% of the wins from 3 loss. but i duo qued with same ELO mate.and used skype. trust me if you count for 2 of the 5 team as competent players even if u have 1 badie, the two of u should be able to carry, playing tank + jungler or tank + carry works best in duo as far as ive seen. i still make mistakes and review my own games. but ive noticed my improvements too

vreith seems like i cant find anyone to duo que with, as of yet... and yes it does seem like that is the only way to win in low elo, consistantly

Do people that claim Elo hell doesn't exist really think that Elo is a good metric of your player skill? Thats like if StarCraft II FFA matches counted toward your 1v1 ranking. It would be ****ing hilarious, but broken as ****.

Anyway sn3aks, only thing I can say for you is that an elo reset is coming. When it hits, you'll be the same rating as all of them, and my account for that matter. Recommend that till than you just relax and polish up random champ skills, and when it hits, try hard. I don't mean play well, I mean friend list good players, duo queue constantly, whatever you can do to get ahead of the curve.

I don't know if your good or bad personally, but if your good and you manage well when the reset happens no reason you can't make it. I know Elo hell exists, but I don't have a solution for it besides duo queue helps, and luck helps more, so thats all I got to offer you.
