Riot recently taking out the visibility of other people's ping at the start of the match to lower levels of rage and the potential of unsportsman like behaviour before the game has even started.
Generally in game people hate being called "noob" and will usually report it as verbal abuse (unsportsman like if you agree).
So my question is, why does Riot still have a public chat forum in the client called "Noob"?
I would suggest simply renaming it to something like "newbie", "learners" or "summoners in training". Something like that so that players don't feel like they are a noob when they want to ask for help. If the aim is to actually help them in that forum, then should we not encourage them and not make them feel bad by posting in the "noob" chat?
Maybe im over thinking this, but i thought it was relevant given riot's recent choices...
