The easiest solution is to make IP:IP = RP:RP. Right now it's 3150:6300 =/= 975:975.

If they changed the IP costs to 500, 1500, 3000, 4500, and 6000 instead of the current 450, 1350, 3150, 4800, and 6300, they could easily make the RP costs proportional. The RP costs would be 100, 300, 600, 900, and 1200 respectively. This would allow Riot to release champions at all the pricing brackets.

If you're deciding which 975RP champion to get, getting anything other than a 6300IP champion is a bad move. With 3150 you lose 3150IP. If you get a 4800IP champion, you still lose 1500IP. If they changed the system so that you can get two 3000IP champions for the same RP as a 6000IP champion, you'd be just as likely to go either way (in theory).

Their pricing system needs a major reworking. I think this would be the easiest route to go.

All I see is cry cry cry cry cry. Dude instead of being pissy on the forums play some games to earn IP then you will have 6300 in no time. Seriously not that big of a deal, if you would only do something instead of f'ing cry about it.

Sometimes in life you have to work for things. Better learn this lesson now cause you will be sh*t outta luck later on.

Well, Hyou21, roughly 6000 known upvotes don't think that its not that big a deal. *crying*, what you're calling it, is simply informing Riot that a good portion of the community is unhappy. Any disagreement with Riot would be called "Crying" by fanboys. "Crying" as you say, also helps those who disagree with Riot's pricing find out that they are NOT alone.

Also, don't forget that there are probably 10,000 downvotes or more. That means that there are also 10,000 upvotes that cannot be seen.

I get to play 2 games a day. I get home at 18:30. I make dinner, so I sit down for a game at about 19:30. I have to get up at 6:30 in the morning. I like to go to sleep at about 22:00. So, I have about two and a half hours to play my games.

I actually DO work for things. That's why I don't usually have the time to get the 6300 IP every two weeks. I also don't have the money to purchase champions.

So, while you're sitting in your chair apparently made from the money you made playing LoL, I'd like you to remember that a decent amount of the people playing make a living doing other things with their time, and don't make enough money to spend on the game.

Well here we are again folks - waiting to see if the promise made to release champs at other price tiers than 6300 will be honored with the release of Xerath, The Magus Ascendant. Will Riot make a liar of one of their reps for the 7th time in a row?! We should know early next week!

4800 or less or bust.

Frankly, if they make liars of themselves again this next champ, I'm going to keep this bumped and make other threads on the subject. Getting tired of being lied to. Does anyone have the link to the thread where Moneypenny promised different price tiers for new champions?
