Ranked AFK at champ select

I have no reason that this still exists, with how the ranked Q system works allows people to queue up for a ranked, then completely go afk (or possibly d/c) and fully enter the game with no second check to ensure that they are still there. The game automatically selects them a champion if they did not chose any, and in the case that it is the team captain they do not do any bans.

Wouldn't a simple fix be to just have it check again for champ selection or require if a person wants to random pick (hopefully not) that they hit the '?' button to do so? Say then if they don't the system removes them from the queue with the leave, rather than forcing one of their teammates to take the Elo loss and game leave because of them.

A lot of people pretend to be afk in champ selection when they are doing bans because they don't want to play with people that have lower elo. It's a try to make someone Q dodge.

Yeaaah, I thought of that too. But that just doesn't seem like it should be a valid reason to have the system as it currently is.
