Just noticed, under "Guides Directory" it says Alistair-Garen but the first section of the first post is Akali. Just a minor thing that you probably forgot to change when she got released.

Good writing? Higher caliber prose? 50% of his guides are obscenities, yelling all caps and generally insulting his readers (yeah I know, he does it to be funny). Other people actually try to follow established standards of expository/persuasive writing. By your logic Dane Cook has a higher caliber prose than Shakespeare because he yells and curses a lot. His guides lack structure, formatting and organization. I would argue that all of these attributes are crucial for a guide to quickly and effectively convey information.

At a level which no one has achieved?
his Gangplank = 119 replies - 54,079 views
my Gangplank = 237 replies - 119,187 views (not counting my parrrley mechanics guide)

his Cho = 542 replies - 195,124 views
my Mord = 829 Replies - 164,910 Views

And I got people to read these guides by providing my readers with well-reasoned arguments instead of just yelling and cursing at them. Furthermore my threads accumulated these numbers in less time than his.

If his guides got bolded, mine should be bolded, underlined and italicized. I'm not here to brag (I don't need my guides highlighted), I'm here to prove a point.

Remove the bolding for everyone (I realize you did for most, but not all of condon's). It's too subjective. As shown by my example the bolding was arbitrary and not guided by any sort of quantifiable metric. Let the readers decide which guides they like. Don't make the choice for them just because you are biased towards guides you find funny. I too could rip off the writing style and humor of a certain someone on the internet, but that isn't what a guide should be about. Especially when it does nowhere near as good a job as the original at being funny.

I respect that this is your thread and I appreciate the service you are doing for the community by maintaining it. Certainly you can manage it how you like, but I do disagree fundamentally with your philosophy.

inb4 forums are srz bsnz

EDIT: sad that Dyrus' Jax got removed... especially since I was able to take 11 characters off of the url string and still make it work. He's one of the better Jax players in this game.

Also you broke my links. The tip I gave you only works for the guide section of the site and not the forum section.

Please use the tinylc.com links that I gave you:

Advanced Gangplank Guide: http://tinylc.com/d
Mordekaiser in 5 minutes: http://tinylc.com/e
Galio in 5 minutes: http://tinylc.com/f
Guide to Mathcrafting: http://tinylc.com/g
Jungle Malphite in 5 minutes: http://tinylc.com/h

You can use tinylc to shorten other leaguecraft links as well. tinylc (tiny-leaguecraft) is a leaguecraft only thing, therefore you don't have to worry about bad links and keyloggers. You can only use it to shorten urls with a leaguecraft.com domain and there should be no reason for this forum to ever block it. Sorry if I didn't make that clear the first time.
