They raised $160K+ in a short time selling only one skin.....

Imagine how much they made off of the other skins/boots etc

Just to let you know, that money raised is BS.

If you do the math on how many skins they sold and how much it cost, no way it was JUST 160k.

Easily over 200k, they bull****.

Well the akali skin was for a good cause, making some people have a change and heart and buy it. I'm guessing they wouldn't make that same amount as fast on 1 skin

I thought that it was money pooled from the skin and the purchase of Akali the champion her self. so the money was not entirely from the skins alone

While I support charities and Riot's casue, at the end of the day they are the winners from that sale.

By saying "buy this and we will donate X" the company is gaining your trust. Example: before you had RP how frequently dd you go our and purchase more? By have a silly amount like 121 RP makes you want to buy more, and with the skin raising that much money, imagine how many new players now have RP?

Riot did a good thing, but in the long run they are the winners.
