Add Healing Reduction to the list on Mercury Tread's, Mundo's "Burning Agony," and Cleanse. It makes sense since it's clearly a form of CC. How do you CC a healer? Reduce their healing capacity.

Any thoughts?

Interesting idea.

You talking duration or actually reducing the effectiveness? I like the latter.

Either one.
The duration makes more sense though,
sense it's that way with all the other CC forms.

alternate solution:

remove healing reduction from the ****ing game. support heroes based on healing are already nearly worthless, why do they need an item that cuts their power in half? why is healing reduction 50% and CC reduction 40%? SERIOUSLY? HEALING IS BETTER IN THIS GAME THAN CC? lfamsdgknagjkfngjksgksfngAGJNgjsdgnsfngjsfkgsfgnkHEADEXPLODES

Well it is an interesting idea
I think it should be included into cleanse since it is a form of debuff
and adding them into mercury treads would also be nice
I think it should just reduce the duration not the effectiveness,
same goes for burning agony.

My thoughts exactly.
Butttt... I'm guessing no one at RIOT plays Soraka or Taric (since they are underpowered without healing reduction) so I doubt that'll get through.

However, 40% reduction on the duration of Healing Reduction debuffs would be a step in the right direction of letting support healers see real playtime.

Taric definitely isn't underpowered.

Remove healing reduction = better solution.

There should be NO hard counters in the game. I think ignite is OK - it has a short duration and a long cooldown, so it actually takes some skill to use it to counter healing - but Excecutioners? ****. There's nothing you can do. Remove Excec, please.

I liked Exec before it got buffed, it was truly situational and special.

Now it's good enough to be used every game, even if only 1 person can heal.
