I made this test with pretty old, eMachines e525 laptop computer. Here's the results:

LoL:
1366x768 resolution, all graphics set to High = 7 FPS, completly unplayable. 0-1 FPS in teamfights...

1366x768 resolution, all graphics se to Medium = 16 FPS, you could play, but FPS drops to like 5 FPS in team fights.

1366x768 resolution, all graphics set to Low = 25 FPS, drops to 10-20 in teamfights.

Client CPU usage 70-80%

HoN:
1366x768 resolution, all graphics set to High = 27 FPS, decent gameplay. Massive teamfights drops it to 20-23 FPS.

1366x768 resolution, all graphics set to Medium = 31 FPS, decent gameplay, massive fights doesnt have any effect to FPS.

1366x768 resolution, all graphics set to Low = 37 FPS, just awesome. FPS stays at that 37, and nothing chances that.

Client CPU usage 5-15%

So, why is it like this? HoN has slightly better graphics imo.
While playing LoL, the FPS drops during the game, and in late game its impossible to play cause of lag. And every patch makes it even worse.
Is there really that much memory leaks?

Cause of performance problems, i can't even play LoL anymore

Ya my laptop is around 6 years old.

LoL runs at 6-10 FPS on very low settings.

HoN runs at 20-40 FPS on very low settings.

/confused

Are you serious? I tried playing HoN at highest setting on an nVidia GT 330m, and got like 30 frames, when in LoL I get like 60

Also HoN has better graphics too, but they are less demanding?

WTF is Riot doing...like...seriously...

I bet the OP works for S2 Games and he's trying to make HoN look like a sanctuary for the people with wooden PC's.
All those numbers = fake?

What, didn't realize that LoL is one horribly programmed, slapped-together, Frankenstein'd-from-100s-of-third-party-products game?

Same as OP for me.

I play HoN on high with no problems and have to turn LoL to low to get the same results.

Edit: Still can't see pantheon ult =P

I doubt that the LoL engine is as optimized as the HoN engine. Alone from considering the development time of the engines...
