Hi all,

As there is no good information on Jaxx and alot of mixed opinions, I donno what to do with him...
I know the dodging skills has got to be maxxed 1st with lvl 1 leap, + ulti as quick as possible, then the "Q" one maxxed, then leap at the end...

Any ways skills are cool, character, i love, but I really dont know what items to buy...Some say lifesteal 30-40%, others say ability power MAX, some others say, go for quick speed, others say armor/health...others dodge...

Im basicly getting a bit confused and I am asking experianced Jaxx players to give me a little help.

So what im asking is : What items should i Buy? And why?
At what point should i start ganking peps (lvl wise) ?
skill wise MAX dodge skills, MAX (when u can obviously), Max"Q", with leap at end (but getting just 1 in that skill branch at start (lvl 2-4) Is correct?
Any tips???

If you look, we now have a Directory of Guides. There are two out on Jax at the moment, perhaps they meet your needs.
This and this.

I posted this in your other thread but I will post here for you just incase

There are a number of good ways to play Jax. I have never tried AP but I have heard it is very effective. On my Jax I rune for flat HP on quintessences, dodge on yellow, cd reduction on blue, and increased attack speed on red. I skill counterstrike leapstrike counterstrike leapstrike leapstrike ult leapstrike counterstrike leapstrike. I usually go for the red +hp gem or boots and healing pots, depending on what I think the other team will throw against me. Then I go for ninja tabi and phage as soon as possible for easy chasing. I max leapstrike first because that + phage + ninja tabi + cd reduction runes gives me really good chasing ability which helps me get some good ganks and chases early game. After that I go for zeal, and then work towards banshee's veil or finishing phantom dancer depending on how many casters the other team has and that usually takes me to the end of the game. Sometimes I put 1 point in the Q skill after I max leapstrike incase I need the AoE on it to farm a lane really quick, but otherwise I don't touch it til counterstrike is maxed.

oh and I go for flash/heal for my summoner skills

I appreciate your feedback, but this is one way I have already tryed, and really dont think it is effective.
The dodge skills is alot more helpfull for survivability, so I think that would be the best way to go...
But still i think my main pb is the items...
I'm not very common in the items names, but if you could give me what you have based ur items on (health, AP, atk speed, atk, armor etc that would be great...

This and this.
I saw these threads, which are useless and needs a complete delete, as no one is giving usefull or up to date comments on it.

Hey Odin! I really disagree, while either guide could be more informative in their content I don't think they are useless. They give two different styles of play for Jax both of which work.

My personal favorite is the items Predicted mentioned in this (second reply) thread. Basically "you should get the 300 gold armor and 5 hp pots, use hp regen runes so you can ignore the pendant, you should build the armor into dodge boots.
Then you just stack nashor's tooth, it is extremely good, and gives you a lot of attack speed and 420 ability power." With my skill buy usually going QEWQER for the first six levels and then continue as needed (whatever seems to be most needed/effective that match).

Early game: Ambush! If I have a teammate I either ambush or bait and let my teammate ambush (which ever champion is in better position or is better suited to it). Also the worst thing Jax can do is die, he really needs his gold (he is item dependent for the most part).

Mid game: PUSH! I just keeping pushing as needed as Jax because, to me, he feels helpless in a team fight (no nukes, AOE stuns, not tanky, etc.). I find I do best if I push hard, and then ambush on occasion with a teammate. I don't mind dieing for a tower kill or gank kill if I can't really help it.

Late game: Don't die! Again it comes back to not dieing late game, because Jax is good pressure and can gank most lone champions with the right timing and positioning. With this he can keep teams from pushing too hard if they keep getting ganked. He is also decent bait, as who can resist killing the squishy Jax when he's alone? (Though his lack of escapes makes this very risky)

I might not have a good W/L ratio, but I do well enough as Jax to help my team. If anyone better than me (probably very easy to find) has a suggestion please chime in.

uhh, both of these are great guides. If you can't be successful with the info they give you, the problem is not the guides.

Look, with jax there is no set, "best" build. You have to decide things like, soulstealer or phage? zeal or sheen? dancer or nashors tooth?

You also have to decide, am I going to chase with jump alot? if so, then level that and counter

Am I going to farm really hard because I have a good matchup in my lane? Then take empower and anything else.

Am I going to do huge spikes to the enemy heros so my partner can farm/stun? Then take jump and empower.

runes are important too. If you want to harass, you will need health regen. If you are going to chase, you need dodge to proc your stun more often.

No one is going to hand you the "best" item build, skill build, rune build, and strategy on a silver platter. You have to make up your mind.

I am so sorry if you dont like specialist guides that don't give "up to date" info. AP jax guide is updated daily.

Maybe wait a while for people to figure stuff out after the patch instead of raging in the guides section.
