LolLauncher Crashing Instantaneously Upon Startup

Hi, so sometime after the hotfix for mac crashes was rolled out my LolLauncher began immediately crashing every time I attempted to start the client (so, roughly four days ago). I get no error message, it simply fails.

I apologize if this has been addressed but I have read this forum, google'd this problem, and read the support forums extensively and do not see any posted solution (or even other people with the same problem). I have re-downloaded the client three or four times to no avail.I have tried this with the application both pinned and unpinned from the dock.

I apologize but I seem to have already managed to solve it on my own! Unusual timing considering it took me four days and then within fifteen minutes of posting here I resolve my problem on my own.

In any case, to fix it I had to shut down my computer, let it sit for a few minutes, pin the League of Legends application to the dock (from the Applications Menu!), then run it from the dock. I think it might have something to do with the fact that on my computer I have two video cards, and the LolPatcher was ghost 'running' despite not actually running previously, which disabled dynamic switching between the two. This is just a guess however; the technical experts would know much better than I.

Hope this helps you turbanator8 (and anyone else who is having this problem!). Again, I apologize for posting something that in retrospect was fairly easy to fix.
