Jacob heard the Justicar begin his speech to the crowd of adventurers, and inwardly scoffed at the unnecessary speech. If anything, the man was making himself a target, standing in the open...

The whistle of an arrow greeted Jacob's ears, and he reflexively brought his left arm up, the disk of force shimmering into translucence. The Shield spell was one of the first spells he learned, and it was practically reflex to cast it now. He quickly observed that he wasn't the target, and dove for cover against the wall.

The Whistler had decided to show himself, which made Jacob concerned. He wasn't worried for his own safety- he could keep himself alive. No, he had decided to appear in public, when there was seemingly nothing to be gained. Something was not as it seemed here, and he would need to observe until he could determine the best method of attack.

As the Honor Guard launched itself into a feathered death, Jacob took the distraction to cast a Cat's Grace spell. He'd need everything he could to stay alive here, and he wasn't going to waste a second of preparation. As the Firefox brought forth its assault, someone who knew the archer and had the magical capability to shift form, Jacob observed the world slowing down as a Haste spell kicked in. It was already too late for the fox, however, and Jacob was disappointed at the loss of a lead.

There was one last spell he was going to cast before repositioning: a Displacement dweomer. Jacob stepped away from the wall, and then seemed to warp backwards to be once again standing next to the wall. At this point, a number of the other adventurers had already initiated combat, and Jacob began moving closer to make some final observations. He bobbed and weaved, unlikely to be a target with how quickly he was moving, but already cautious.

[1] Mini-Boss: Blood Arrow
Noxian Capitol: Central Noxus

The Blood Arrow looked into the explorer's eyes, the young girl holding a harpoon in her hand, aimed directly at his face. His tensioned bow lay limp at his side, five arrows hooked on the tight string. What a shame — more blood to spill. But alas, it was his mission, and things had to be done. He raised his bow, arrowheads glinting in the evening sunlight, pointed at the explorer.

Then, an axe came flying to the side of his head. The Whistle sidestepped it, ducking and releasing the tension on his bow. As the Ionian charged him, he tossed all five arrows into the air, catching them in his right hand. Stepping forward quickly, he would attempt to drive them into the man's stomach. Following up with a swift counterattack, he would launch a powerful kick into the man's stomach, following up by bashing him in the side with his bow.

The Arrow surveyed his other opponents, taking mental notes down about each. The explorer obviously had a vendetta, as well as the dwarf and the elf. Blindly out for revenge, mildly threatening. The archer sends a quick explosive arrow at the three of them, the blast probably catching Ordimar in its radius as well. Then the Arrow's gaze fell upon Ares and Achmetha. Powerful beings, posing extremely high threats to him. Though they did not seem to be very active at the moment; he would deal with them later. The assassin could not see Occama or Tabula, though he knew they were hiding somewhere. Then, the Arrow's vigilant gaze fell upon the blur of a traveler moving abnormally fast with the grace of a fox; a Haste spell. Magi.

Nocking another bolt, this one sonic, the Blood Arrow fires it straight upwards, the arrow breaking the sound barrier and shattering windows in the square, the intense sound sure to make many in the square crumble with pain. Taking this time to his advantage, the archer fetches another arrow, nocking it and setting his sights on the Ionian Magi. He releases the arrow, a streak of red flying through the air accompanied by the sound of a high-pitched whistle. Jumping abnormally high through the air, his cloak rustling as he did so, the Blood Arrow dives at Jacob, another arrow already in his hand.

Mini-Boss: Blood Arrow

The assassin did not waste any words on Ordimar, instead bursting into action, reacting to his numerous assailants coming from all different avenues. It was not long until the sharpshooter had broken apart from at least one adversary--the one in gold-- to notch and loose a trio of explosive arrows: one for the woman, another for the she elf ha had shouldered, and the last for the dwarf.

He was closest to the latter two, and though he had no ties to them, he braced himself defensively and readied his sword to parry the arrows with his blade. Whether he did or not, the explosion would rock Ordimar, engulfing him in flame and smoke, obscuring him from view of the assassin and the others. However, the blast would not be enough to severely hinder the Terror Knight, who was no man of stealth. Shouting loudly, he would explode into a charge, his great sword held in both hands at his right side.

For his considerable size and massive frame, Ordimar moved with a surprising agility, though likely not compared to the Whistler. Regardless, he'd begin with a ferocious upslash, followed by a flurry of side to side strikes, left to right, right to left, and looking for any opening to close the distance between the two and grip the assassin up. Ordimar was not here for prisoners, he was here to end the mission and get paid.

Mini Boss: Blood Arrow

Jacob watched as the Whistler expertly deflected the blows of his assailants. He could easily see how Lambda could have been eliminated so quickly, although they had been unprepared, and caught off guard. Jacob would not be so easy a target. Preparation was key, and the Whistler had given him all the time he needed to tip the scales in his favor.

Of course, a crucial part of combat is awareness, and Jacob recognized the man's shift in gaze as he was identified. Seeing the man lift his bow to fire vertical, Jacob dropped to a knee and lifted the shield above his head. He had expected a volley, but did not anticipate the sonic shockwave that ripped through him. No matter how well he prepared, he still had yet to find an effective defense against sonics.

The world went quiet, replaced by the ringing of ruptured eardrums. It wasn't the first time that Jacob would have to fight with an impaired sense, and he was going to make sure it wasn't the last. He came quickly but unsteadily to his feet, before diving to his right as the Whistler's second arrow seemed to barely miss his side. He hoped as he gracefully flipped to his feet that at this distance, the man had not seen the truth: The arrow had barely passed through the edge of the Displacement image.

As the Whistler leapt through the air, Jacob prepared to react to his inevitable assault. His stance lowered, and he stood facing the jumping assailant with his right hand on the hilt of his weapon, ready to draw. He quickly finished a spell with his left, his hands beginning to glow with the purplish-blue light of a Gut Buster. Standing still was suspicious against an archer, but it was unlikely that the Whistler would be able to fully grasp what he was planning.

Noxian Capital

Before the hooded figure could respond back to Ares' boast, it turned to face the man who was speaking of their task of hunting down the one called the Blood Arrow. The being really did not care much for anything spoken and only wanted for the feeble human to tell him a hint as to where this person was already. The need to rush the man was unnecessary as his 'hint' would come very soon in the form of an arrow piercing the man's throat. Turning around, the figure saw its target standing at a distance. However, it did not move just yet as if watching what the Blood Arrow would do along with the others.

Though, it did move to come in front of Ares before turning around to face her with a stony hand reaching out of the cloak. It moved in the air, writing out sign after sign in spiritual energies which were similar to Ares, Demon Kings of other realms. Then he made crosses through each, dissipating them, and when he had done so to all of them, he draws out Ares' sign before doing the same but much slower. When it disappears, the figure retreated its hand before turning to face his main objective. Only those that could see spiritual energies could see what the figure had drawn or if they could read his writing as he done so.

(( so did Achmetha write something that Ares would be able to read or simply dispel his mark? kind of confused, also ignore the thing about Ares's name do not feel like editing))

While Ares does not want to unleash a fraction of her true power here she will definitely not allow herself to be bested by a mysterious boulder, She tosses her head back with a smile. she sends a thought to him a useful tool for those of her kind "I dont think so!" is what Achmetha would hear clear as if it had been said out loud. Ares's magical presence would grow until an aura of magic and darkness surrounds her, although only those with natural magical powers would see the cloud of darkness anyone would be able to feel the oppressive nature of it.

For now Occama consciously decided to NOT do anything and simply stay hidden at the wall behind the shield. He had various reasons for this decision. First of all the person had an advantage of position as he was on a high ground. Second, too many people have already engaged the person and it has already been showing through the fact it's detrimental to their efforts, because people can't properly use the full range of their abilities. And the last reason was quite obvious and most likely the most important and that was the fact he has never fought anyone with the intent of hurting the other person, so this was very off-putting even though it was the right thing.

After some more time Occama gathered a bit of his courage and started moving. He was precisely moving along the wall and away from the place hidden behind the shield to stay covered. Even though he clearly couldn't see where he was going, it seemed like he knew exactly what he is doing as he had no problems navigating around - perks of having Tabula as your items. Occama would try to get a better angle at which he could attack.

Occama would try to get away and then make his way onto a rooftop of a nearby building. However then he started feeling the oppressive aura Ares was releasing and couldn't force himself to climb onto the building even though it wouldn't be difficult. So instead he once again stuck to the wall with the shield covering him until the aura stops affecting him.

((I sincerely hope this is coherent.))

Blood Arrow Battle

Alya had her finger pressed down on the trigger to her grappling hook mere moments away from applying just the right amount of pressure to send it flying, then the axe flew at the Blood Arrow. She hissed a curse under her breath and started to move in a better position in order to take aim at the assassin. It was then she saw the arrow flying at her and had to make a quick decision. She shot her grappling hook at the large skull nearby and dove out of the way of the arrow, the hook quickly burying itself into the building's face. With a flip of the switch, the device suddenly wound, pulling her with it and allowing her to escape the blast radius.

She planted her feet against the wall and gripped tightly onto her grappling device, looking down at the movement below. This wasn't much different from avoiding traps in ancient temples, and if he held still long enough, she could probably hit him with one of her chakri. With her free hand, she slid the disk off of her wrist and took aim at the assassin's bow. After all, if that became damaged then he would be unable to fight using range. She was just about to throw it when the sonic arrow was let loose. She yelped in pain, dropping the chakri and tried to cover her ears with her hand and her shoulder. Her ears were now ringing, and it was slightly more difficult to focus, she may need to take cover before he fires another arrow at her.... And perhaps she may have to use her wings much sooner than she anticipated.

Ares has grown bored with watching the mortals play games, she now decides to play one of her own. She smiles devilishly revealing far too many razor sharp teeth than should fit in her mouth, her green eyes sparkle with mischief as she extends her arms to her sides leaving her sleeves to plow behind her like wings. She suddenly jumps into the air yet instead of landing after a second she continues to move upwards and forwards simultaneously a wave (http://33.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m9ub478gRG1r17r5qo2_500.gif) of darkness flowing from her, if it touches Whistler it would cause whatever it touches to Decay while it will evaporate off of anyone else for now.

[1] Mini-Boss: Blood Arrow
Noxian Capitol: Central Noxus

The Arrow was halfway through his leap at the Ionian Magi before he saw the enormous frame of the Terror Knight come crashing in, his enormous blade a blur. Realizing that the Mage was about to launch a spell, and that the enormous swordsman was gaining distance every second, the archer decided it was time he showed these fools a piece of his true strength.

Putting both hands below him, he conjured a blast of translucent wind, a precaution against whatever the Mage had in store for him. As he did so, Ordimar's large broadsword cut a slash in his arm, drawing blood. Wincing, the Whistle landed on the ground beside Jacob, swinging both legs underneath the Mage and attempting to knock him off balance. The Blood Arrow used his bow to parry the Terror Knight's next swing, the clang of metal striking against metal resounding against his wrists. Performing a graceful backflip, the Whistle would put as much distance between himself and Ordimar as possible, launching arrow after arrow at his pursuer.

The Blood Arrow's acrobatics placed him directly above the explorer girl and the dwarf, and unknowingly, Occama. Still focusing heavily on the Terror Knight, it was all too late when the Elvish archer sent an arrow the assassin. Having to duck to avoid being shot, the Blood Arrow was not prepared for the Dwarf's crippling attack, taking two hammers to his gut and being launched against the side of the Skull, falling on the ground besides Alya. Ares' wave of darkness came as well, backing the Arrow even further into the mouth of Noxus' Capitol building. Quickly shaking his adversaries' counterattacks off, the Arrow nocked another volley of arrows; however, he was surrounded from all angles, Occama and the wall behind him, Amaron and Mercari advancing from his front. Realizing he was outnumbered and outgunned, the Arrow quickly nocked an explosive arrow, drawing tension on the bow and pointing it directly downward. It was clear what his next move would be.

Ares lands on the overhang of the roof about twenty feet above Whistler, the woman smiles showing row after row of razor sharp teeth as her nails become sharp talons. She would peer over the edge and give Whistler a smile a hungry look in her eyes.
