Not really, i'm saying bring the others up, you're still whacking the standout down.

There won't be any further balance changes until pre-season 5 because Worlds

Why can't you just push a change on live and let the pros play with the current stable patch for worlds? Who is making the decision that the value of having the public playerbase and the proffessional playerbase on the same patch for worlds is higher than the value of having a more balanced game on public and keeping a stable game for worlds?

You can have your cake and eat it to. One patch of differences isn't going to cause people to disconnect with the professional scene, and whoever is making the decisions in these matters ought to see that or someone should tell him that.

Always buffing isn't any better of a solution than always nerfing. Like he said the goal is to balance through each having different strengths and weaknesses.

Of course that is extremely hard to do. I've never seen a game pull it off perfectly but that should still always be the goal.

They can't do that because that would make sense

Their precious LCS players could not train for worlds on the patch they will play at worlds. Thats why it wont happen.

they cant simply revert the changes.

Thats admitting a serious business failure.

That said, im really intrigued as to how theyre going to nerf Tristana

In my opinion, if neither of the below factors are changed, Tristana will remain overpowered.

Her range.

Her attack speed steroid.

Her 900 range jump.

It doesnt matter if they take away the reset on her W, she will still be extremely overpowered.

It doesnt matter if they give back her mana costs on her Q, she'll still be OP.

Riot is going to have to be creative with Tristana if they want to cater to their policy of keeping or buffing strengths while adding weaknesses.

They got it right with Lucian,(the second time around), and i trust them to get it right with Tristana.

(Please, dont allow OP champions to exist in their overpowered state for 10 patches. Even before the itemization changes hit live we knew she'd be the strongest champion in the game. Aren't you guys supposed to be ahead of the curve and rebalance champions accordingly? )

Yeah, she needs nerfing. Realistically it is unlikely to happen before worlds. We like for those matches to take place on as stable a build as possible that has been thoroughly tested, so even very good changes can be ultimately risky. We also think it's reasonable for the players to expect that numbers won't go changing wildly right in the middle of worlds.

To clarify, she needs some sort of weakness. If we just lower her damage or something, players may just switch from her to Kog or someone which just substitutes one dominant ADC for another. Ideally we'd like to give her some trade-offs so that you can choose her for her strengths or avoid her because of her weaknesses.

maybe nerf her rocket jump reset

No, no they didn't. He's an ADC with too much mobility and high burst. Go in, burst someone, get out before they have time to react. Also be really hard to catch. How is this healthy gameplay?

Give them access to another client, password protected independently for each proffesional player. If all of a sudden you get sporadic traffic using player X's password, then you can penalize that player for not keeping his password secure and then hand him a new one.

Or just tie the proffesional platform to the standard and pbe platforms, so that you can log in with one set of credentials the same way you'd log into the PBE with the same credentials you use for the standard platform.

Let pros scrim and play worlds on their patch and let us keep moving forward, keep iterating and improving the game with patches and feedback. Its absolutely idiotic to freeze the live game as it iterates to an ever increasingly better state just because "its too much trouble" to make a microsystem for pro's to play on an older patch.

If a person could put a dollar value on how much is wasted in terms of how much it would cost to improve league of legends with sheer manpaower over the course of a week that it would naturally improve over the course of a couple months during world if the live patch / feedback cycle wasn't frozen, the amount would be astronomical. Its a waste of resources and money if nothing else. Not taking advantage of an opportunity to save resources is tantamount to losing resources.

maybe you can buff some of the anti adc items like randuins
