So first I had to wait 20 mins just to finally get a full team and then once the game started I was paired with people no where near my skill level.....how does my team even stand a chance against that!? Needless to say we got raped team builder is really only optimal if you're a support or jungle main because you find games quicker then top/mid laners do *sighs* I'm going to go back to blind

Unfortunately with fewer players playing Teambuilder, and no restrictions on what levels can play together, sometimes there will be dependencies in matchmaking and it's accuracy. Sadly unless more people start playing team builder, it might remain that way for a while.

You got to remember the MMR is separate - Someone ranked gold or higher on ladder may have a silver mmr in Team Builder.

I'll take teambuilder over blind pick any day - that's generally a mess unless you queue with friends. 4 icons earned, 2 more to go for me.

lol, please.

Here are a few of my "wtf" moments. http://imgur.com/a/bn5Gv#0

I'm fairly certain that Summoners Rift in Normals, in general, gives zero fks about mmr.

Just think of it this way in blind for gods sake man don't do it. How many times do you read, (Position), or feed. I get that 1/3 games doing blind. Then another 1/3 is someone *****ing the entire time that they didn't get the position they want and saying their not gonna try. Least in Team Builder if i'm going to be pubstomped like a challenger vs Bronze 5 then I will damn well do it in a position I wanted to play as.

This is why I prefer team builder.

4v5 and instead of hearing /ff @20 or the other usual cries about a dc/afk we just play it out. They even got first blood but no one whined or said gg.

This was easily the game I've had the most fun in in a long while, and I wasn't playing a champ I was super strong with and dominating with a vengeance. It was just the lack of drama and everyone working together naturally without having to type to overcome the odds of being one person down and still dominate the majority of teamfights despite them having quality cc on their side as well.

No one on the enemy team even raged - at least towards us.

I'll get ranked games like this on occasion, but it tends to be more frequent in Team builder, and I'd be willing to bet part of that has to do with no arguing over roles.

Of course, people still do rage in TB, but a lot less often than I'm used to which makes it worth the extra queue wait for me.

Summoner's Rift in normals most certainly does care about players' MMR. However, you need to keep in mind that ranked and normals have COMPLETELY SEPARATE MMRs. A player's ranked MMR and normals MMR have absolutely no influence on each other whatsoever. So someone who is in Plat or Diamond with a very high MMR in ranked and pretty much only plays ranked games will very likely have quite a low MMR in normals. That's the way things have always worked.
