So, i just upgraded my computer, and decided to test out how it handled fraps in LoL.

the results werent as good as i was expecting.

i have
nvidia 9800 gtx+ (not upgraded)
i7 860 quady
4gb ram (though 32 bit w7 allows 3gb only)

on winter map i was dropping down to a horrible 10 fps. at times it would maintain ~50
but it really got bad in intense fights. could this be the half size/full size recording? if not, anyone got anything else i can try out to make it perform better (excluding graphic settings, already did that)?

Hey,

Right click your desktop --> Properties (personalize) --> Display Settings --> Lower your colors to 16 bit.

This should help, it helps me every time.

Let me know if it works for you.

Good luck

Lol, the problem with fraps is if you tried to record most average-length games, the raw .AVI file would be about 100+ gigs depending on your fraps FPS/resolution settings...
