Champion Concept: Ooken, The Bladestorm

Ooken, The Bladestorm
Assassin

Appearance: Ooken is a yordle that resembles Kennen but with a darker outfit. He carries a sword in each hand and has two more sheathed swords on his back. He wears a mask that shows only his eyes.

Passive:
Loose Daggers
Each basic ability launches a dagger into the air, landing on the ground 2.5 seconds later in a random area within 400 range of Ooken. While the dagger is in the air, the landing location will have a 75-diameter area on the ground (similar to Draven's Q) and activating basic abilities while standing on the area will give the ability bonus effects.

Empowered abilities cost no energy.



Q: Sword Fling
Within 500 range, Ooken hurls a sword at his target, dealing 55/80/115/150/185 (+100% Bonus AD) physical damage.

With Loose Daggers: Twin Throws - After throwing the sword, Ooken jumps to grab the dagger and throws it at the target, dealing an additional 75/120/165/210/255 (+150% Bonus AD) physical damage.

CD: 12/11/10/9/8
Energy Cost: 85/75/65/60/50
Single Target ability



W – Vicious Leap
Ooken jumps to an area within 650 range, dealing 70/100/130/160/190 (120% bonus AD) damage to all enemies within 100 range of his landing. Loose Daggers will not proc if no enemies are hit. Cooldown resets on kills and assists.

With Loose Daggers: Crippling Charge - Ability does 20% more damage and slows enemy champions by 40% for 3 seconds.

CD: 15/14/13/12/12
Energy Cost: 90/85/80/75/70
Ground targeted AoE



E – Quick Strikes
For 3 seconds, Ooken gains 5/10/15/20/25% and all basic attacks will become double strikes that each deal 50/50/55/55/60% of Ooken's total AD. Both strikes proc on-hit effects.

With Loose Daggers: Flurry - Attack speed bonus is 7.5/15/21.5/40/50%.

CD: Static 10 seconds
Energy Cost: 80
Self Buff



R – Bladed Tempest
Ooken turns into a tornado of blades, gaining 100% base movement speed for 2 seconds, knocking up and dealing 100/250/400 (+100% AD) physical damage to enemies the first time they collide with the tornado. After being knocked back, enemies are slowed by 60% for 2 seconds.

Energy Cost: 0
Self Buff

Attack Speed: 0.65 (+2.8%)
Attack Range: 125
Health: 440 (+75)

Armor: 19 (+3.5)
Magic Resist: 30 (+1.25)


Description:
Ooken is an assassin that deals more damage the longer the combo is, due to his passive.



Tips:

As:
- Try to empower one of your abilities with Loose Daggers when trading in lane, as it refunds energy and makes for a stronger trade.
- When fighting all-in, make sure to decide wisely whether to continue fighting or to move and use Loose Daggers.
- Be careful about using Vicious Leap in an engagement, as you have limited ways to escape after using it.

Against:
- Impairing Ooken's movement can significantly lower his power, as it limits his ability to use Loose Daggers.
- Launching skill shots towards the landing location of Loose Daggers may let you have an easy hit or discourage Ooken from claiming it.
- Try to burst Ooken down before he is able to chain his skills on you, as he deals the most damage when using all his skills combined with Loose Daggers.

Passive: instead of a random area it might be more intuitive to have this be based on something like last opponent targeted.

Q: look to Pantheon's spear shot for better numbers.

On energy: you have too many different things which refund energy; it feels more like a manaless champion. It would work better if the only way to gain energy is from interacting with the passive.

W: Not sure why you want the collision mechanic for a leap; more appropriate fora dash.

E: looks like you forgot a section of this description.

R: A knock up would be more appropriate than a knock back for a tornado.
