Smite's "Goodwill" System should be on League.

You start off with 100% Goodwill. Goodwill gives you a bonus (albeit a tiny bonus, but a bonus nonetheless) to your favor (essentially IP) gained after each match, depending on the %.

Every time you leave a game, your Goodwill is dropped to 0%.
Every time you remain in a game until completion, either through victory or defeat, your Goodwill increases (speed varies depending on left games out of your total recent)

You require a 50% minimum Goodwill before you can play Smite's ranked games.

It works. People still rage in game sometimes, sure. But at least they don't quit or AFK.

Edit: I want Riot to say they have at least SOME kind of anti-leave system in the works. Leaverbuster is... okay, I guess? But there are a million other better, WORKING systems out there.

Edit: 100 upvotes! Yay c=

Edit: Thank you to whoever posted this to Reddit. Fortunately (or unfortunately) it got more attention there.

Edit: It's come to my attention that a lot of people think that Goodwill is affected by the amount of times you get reported. Goodwill has NOTHING to do with reports. It is PURELY a system implemented for LEAVING, RAGE-QUITTING, AND AFK'ING. The amount of times you get reported, whether or not the reports go through, none of that has ANY effect on your Goodwill.

It is JUST a system for LEAVING. Not a symbol of toxicity.

Edit: I wake up to 200+ upvotes. I didn't think it'd be that popular!

Also if you get reported enough you can drop to 0% goodwill instantly.

I don't like this as much. Imagine the power of 4 man queues

EDIT: ok ok well I didn't know you didn't allow 4 mans in smite. How was I supposed to know?

Reading comprehension is hard, he said ENOUGH, let me repeat that so your psuedo-brain might comprehend it, ENOUGH.

the Smite people would have to be mentally retarded if they didn't have a system that ignored such a thing.

Because, ya know, chances of being in a 4 man-queue that is out specifically to drop the goodwill on the random teammate is extremely high.

4 man queues are disabled for conquest mode(Summoners Rift equivalent) in smite unless they added it back without me noticing. You would have to be reported over several games in a short amount of time for you to drop to zero. If you aren't consistently an ass in most of your games you will be fine.
