Mac OSX 10.8.5 Client/Launcher will not start

Specs:

- System and exact System version: Mac OS X 10.8.5
- Mac Name and Generation: MacBookPro 2012
- Processor: 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5
- RAM: 8GB

Problem: Launcher will not open. Just got home, tried to click on the League of Legends Application and nothing pops up except for: *******http://i.imgur.com/faYsG7e.png******** after clicking 'OK' the rainbow circle appears for approximately 1-2 minutes. During this time, the UserKernel is open according to Activity Monitor but soon closes after the rainbow circle and the League of Legends logo disappears.

Solution in my viewpoint:
Basically, the console is saying that it deleted the "empty sub categories" leaving the client and launcher broken like this: *******http://i.imgur.com/cSjbEAW.png******** and this is what it looks like inside the contect packages -> Contents -> LoL -> RADS -> Projects: *******http://i.imgur.com/PQ1jhLn.png******** I believe that there were other folders that got deleted.

i suggest you uninstall LOL and then completely reinstall it. That way you get all the files back

I tried the uninstall, and am now stuck in the reinstall ring of hell. I have tried everything that has been posted on this forum but nothing has worked yet. I wish I would have kept my original files, it seems like a lot of the fixes require your original files.

hmm
there is also an option tab at the top of the launcher, looks liek two gears. click on it to repair your client. Much simpler.:P
