He stood still cool as ice seemingly not scared of the humans as he said. "I wish to know more about the watchers purpose in this world human."

At this, a furious chatter broke out amongst the guards above the door. Val'Drak would not be able to make out any complete sentences save for a few words such as Yes, No and Lissandra. After a few more minutes of debate, the guards looked down upon Val'Drak and yelled back down to him. "It is well known that Princess Lissandra is indeed wise and well versed in the subject of the Ice Watchers. If that is all you wish, you may enter the city. Of course, we will have to escort you there. Stand back from the gate!"

A rumbling noise commenced as the entrance to Rakelstake was laid bare. Val'Drak would catch a glimpse of the ancient city before the guards came and surrounded him, two men to each side. "A warning to you," the Frostguard whispered into his ear. "Do not dare harm the Princess. We will be watching you carefully." With that, they led him into the courtyard and through the many hallways before arriving at Lissandra's meeting chamber. After a few moments of silence, the doors slid open to reveal Princess Lissandra by a window seat. She glanced curiously at the dragon and beckoned him to come closer as the doors shut behind him.

"Come to me and tell me once more what you wish from me."

"What am I here for but to answer your queries summoner? Mind or not, it is due to you mortals curiosity and persistence that I am forced to be confined here, answering trivial questions at best." Lissandra bristled on her seat and with every word the temperature dropped a little further until one could see their cloudy breath in front of them. "But no matter now. Ask whatever desperate question you have in your little head, whelp."
Patrick felt the air freezing around him, he tried to resist shivering, but he felt as though his very blood was starting to chill. He limped over to the stool and tried to sit down, but the effort mixed with the pain of his injuries and he began to cough violently into his heavily bandaged hand, falling to his knees on the floor. He looked down to see blood upon the bandages and sighed deeply. He picked himself up with what seemed like labored effort, and leaning against the table.

"My questions might be more interesting that most. I want to know what you did to Anivia, and I want to know how to fix it." He said bitterly, trying to keep from showing any signs of fear, but Lissandra's presence unnerved him greatly.

he moved back as the gates opened. Looking at the cold city he was a bit impressed. He Didn't bother to answer the human back as they walked through the city. As they arrived to the chamber. He went a bit closer. Not much as he didn't trust her yet and said. "You must be lissandra yes?"

((Edit. Ryugi Kazamaru has blessed this thread. I think he likes you. Hue hue. Warning bad attempt at humour.))

((Yes, thank you all for the warm welcome =) )).

@patrick

"Ah you want to know what happened to Anivia. Poor unfortunate cyrophoniex. Such a shame to see her become corrupted, is it not?" A wicked smile flashed across Lissandra's face. She got up off her chair and came up close to the barrier between them. The witch then beckoned towards the summoner to come closer. Using her magic, Lissandra would show Patrick a fake vision of Anivia herself. It would portray the moments of when exactly she came her Blackfrost self. Lissandra opened her mouth and pouted slightly sympathetically.

"Look summoner. Look. Your precious Anivia, grown corrupt by the powers of the Watchers." She almost completely closed her heavy lidded eyes, and smirked shrewdly. "Here we are now, the Watchers and I are ruling the Freljord." The fake vision continued with Lissandra narrating every scene. "Oh, and lookie here. Look who arrives! The young hero, why, it's you summoner! Here to prove his worth and to save his dear Anivia." With every mocking, sarcastic word she tossed at Patrick Lissandra felt only joy. So there were some perks to this answering business. Standing up straight again, Lissandra destroyed the taunting fake vision with a wave of her clawed hand. "You should see the look on your face." She snorted. "But for Anivia's fate, I did not directly touch her. Rather, her old, frail and cowardly heart merely gave in to the Watcher's influence AS it should have done loong ago."

@ slyvanas

Lissandra raised her eyebrow at Val'Drak quizzingly. "Of course I am. Do I not look most regal in this room? Does anyone compare to Lissandra here?" She flung out her words at the numerous Frostguards lining the walls. They answered in unison, "Undeniably, your Majesty" and "No, your Majesty." Lissandra smiled self assuredly as she looked back upon the dragon. "Let it not be said Lissandra is a ruler with weak hospitality however. Please, sit down. Make yourself at home. I suggest you tell me what you want soon as I am a very busy woman with very little time. Oh and of course, I believe I have not yet caught your name."

Patrick grew furious to watch Lissandra taunt him, he wanted to cross over the barrier of magic and inflict pain, to destroy her and watch all her confidence break. it's suicide His heart broke to watch the vision she conjured. He stood within arm's reach of her, breathing upon the barrier as she narrated it with wicked joy. He pulled his hat lower over his eyes, as he felt sadness and despair. He hated Lissandra more than anyone he had ever hated in his life, but he still thought there might be a chance.

"Is there a way to fix it? I want to make her better, please..." He said, his voice breaking on the last word, and tears began to roll down his cheeks. "I'll do anything, just make her like she used to be, I beg you." He dropped his eyes to the ground again, seeing the twisted vision had taken most of the fight he had left in him, and his strength felt like it was failing.
