I really don't get it.

Whenever a person ask what cs is appropriate for bronze or silver player, people will jump out and mindlessly say you should aim for 100 cs by 10 minute mark. (I have read more than 10 post like that)

What! This is absolutely NOT true! How many times have you see pros consistently getting 100 cs by 10 minutes?

Even if you watch diamond players streams, they cannot achieve 100 cs by 10 minute. (Over 100 games or so I watched, maybe I saw 1 or 2 games of 100 cs by 10 minute)

Please stop "advising" us bronze or silver player that something that is not achievable.

That is not really a good "target".

I say 65 cs by 10 minute mark is a good "target" for bronze.
70 cs is already pretty good for "silver".
...etc

I work harder to get closer to that every game, except as support :b

It's all about that self improvement and trying to get better at the game.

Actually the general consesus for players in lower brackets is to aim for 120 by 20.

they're good targets if you don't want to get any better.

if you DO want to get better, shoot for 80+ cs by 10m

Aim for beating the other laner by the greatest margin. If you have 40 and they have 0, that's pretty good (granted, if you're zoning that hard, you should probably work at CSing more effectively)
And as a secondary measure, try to have more CS than anyone on the enemy team. If you're stomping your lane, you should hopefully be able to free-farm and even surpass the other lanes.

It's really hard at bronze and silver level... since people tend to fight/die more often, and many times having higher cs doesn't matter when another lane has several kills above you. If you focus on farm more than grouping up for teamfights, YOU WILL LOSE, because people in bronze and silver don't understand the concept of not engaging when someone is away clearing the lane.

Not like, the hardest thing ever, but usually only midlaners can achieve that amount of cs.
Personally i'd say around 70-80 minions by the 10 minute mark it's what you should aim for, of course there are plenty of differents circumstances that may lead you to losing lots of cs
