So for weeks I've heard people say the client is slow, crashing etc. Never really experienced that until this patch. Now the entire client feels overall unresponsive and slow. I've also had the client start crashing, A LOT. Getting errors at the rune page selection as a game was starting (didn't have a chance to copy the error).

My buddies have also noticed the same thing, and started crashing only after this patch.

Anyone else having the same experience?

Yup. Same here. Matchingmaking also takes upwards of 8 minutes, and players quit inside the lobby.

edit: And me and a friend just got rejected from a matchmaking lobby when the countdown reached 0.

i think there's a memory leak. i mean, i'm not a programmer, but it seems like performance gets worse the longer you have pvp.net open

It seems to me that the issue is with the re-opening of PvP.net. After the first game, it will reopen fairly quickly. But as you play more games, it seems to take exponentially longer. This would point to a memory leak, but I can't say that I know much about Adobe AIR but it does sound like they're missing a garbage collection when the window is minimized (or AIR's GC is just that bad). I'll keep an eye on the application size and see if any repeated action causes it to grow.
