Éclair heard every single word the company around Dwt said and briefly turned to them so they could hear her message. She spoke in cold murderous voice " You better watch your tongues, else it might happen you lose them. You should be careful as to how you behave Northerner. "
She then turned away and lightly waved at them with the back of her hand.
With that Éclair disappeared in the slowly thickening crowd and continued in her "quest" for cotton candy. Despite this being a celebration of technology, there surely had to be some more tradional means of entertainment.

Gortavil barely notices the fact that people are being impressed at his appearance, rather than being either fearful or disgusted. That which he picks up, however, puzzles him. Even in places where dragons are revere by humans, which doesn't seem to be a common thing, humans tended to avoid Gortavil because of the feeling of uncleanliness he carries with him, not to mention his rather strong smell. On the other hand, these people seem to have no trouble living in unhygienic circumstances, so maybe he just found a place where being a decay and disease based dragon isn't a drawback. His head snaps around when he hears an explosion, although when he sees that one of the humans just made one of their contraptions explode in his own face he chuckles, baring his fangs, before losing interest and turning away.

What more interests him than the reaction of the humans around him is the fact that at human level the smell of pollution is very light, and above ground level it very suddenly becomes heavier. After some experimenting he discovers that the pollution level seems to increase just above the strange crystals that are hanging from the buildings. To avoid crushing some of the humans against the buildings he instead stretches his neck from the middle of the street, nudging one of the crystals, trying to figure out what exactly is going on with it. He can sense some magic, but not a lot, but it appears these humans have made something that increases the cleanliness of their air. However that would mean that there is no reason for them to not dislike Gortavil. Confused he sits down on his haunches, keeping his head high in the air so he can sniff the stronger pollution upwards as he thinks. So... These humans live with a lack of hygiene that most other human settlements would have trouble equalling. That would explain how they don't mind Gortavil much. But at the same time they create things that increase cleanliness. If they valued hygiene and purity enough to make stuff to improve it, they should like all other humans dislike Gortavil, for he almost embodies corruption, decay, and disease, all things that come with lack of hygiene and impurity. And if they made stuff to increase hygiene, why would they make their lair so filthy to begin with?

Gortavil sits there for a couple of minutes, causing his smell to strengthen in that area, before he gives up trying to understand it, and instead just chalks it down as humans being really strange. If they make their settlement unhygienic, fine by him. If they like him, fine by him. If they then make their lair clean again, he doesn't admit understanding why, but as long as it doesn't involve him, why care? Having decided to be uncaring about the whole issue Gortavil stands up, keeping his head to the ground as he sniffs again. Besides of their strange decisions, these humans have some strange combinations of smells too. There's blood somewhere, causing his nostrils to flare and his maw to unconsciously grin, and from that same location lots of different but weak smells, all intermingled. From another location there's the smell of a snake, and a big one too, but strangely it also contains traces of human. Gortavil scratches his nose, before shrugging. Probably just a snake with lots of human near it.

Continuing his exploration his eyes suddenly light up, smelling something he always finds interesting. Beyond all those strange smells a human settlement contains, he finds a smell of decay, but a prolonged one. That smell might be a lot like normal decay, but Gortavil knows what it really is: Undead. He starts off in the direction where the undead smell comes from, but then suddenly remembers another smell, from close by. Looking around he sees that on one of the many constructions the humans have everywhere, big pieces of meat are lying. Gortavil looks around at where the undead smell comes from, then back at the meat. To first find the undead, or first get the food? He ponders this decision for a good while, before deciding that the undead smell comes from deeper in the settlement. He can get the meat first, and then focus on the undead. Satisfied by ordering his priorities Gortavil moves towards the meat construction thing. He places his head right in front of it, sniffing the meat and completely forgetting about anything else during his intense study of the food.

Karthus sensed something a bit off. It seemed strange for something like this to exist, even in Zaun. It wasn't normal for him to sense this... disease. He had felt it only very rarely before, and it had an aura similar to the one given off by some of the spells that he felt were distasteful to cast. Being an undeniably cursed being, he had felt in necessary to find this contagion. There are few things that had a connection to corrupt forces the same way as Karthus.

He made his way to where he sensed this blight.

With the Zaunite Festival now in session, Alyssa Merrimon managed to take her free time elsewhere then roaming the country-side or perhaps sight seeing a famous statue of Jarvan II, III, or V.

All of that was pathetically boring.

What Alyssa wanted was hands on, and perhaps something much more 'fun' then just regular, fancy, royal 'fun'. Maybe ... A festival. A festival is the perfect solution in Alyssa's case. Zaunite Festival? Even more ridiculous that there's no way Alyssa wouldn't go.

Carefully getting out of the carriage outside of Zaun, she quickly grabbed her grimoire and ventured inside the city that is Zaun. When inside, Alyssa was surprised she wasn't coughing immediately when she entered; It was free of smog and everything.

Oh yes, it was from that one invention... Purity something. Purity Crystal, possibly? It escaped her mind.

Alyssa undoubtedly saw the festival grounds and strolled toward it slowly, looking at her surroundings. It seemed much more emptier then usual... Perhaps they are all inside?

Nope. Inside there were very few people also. "Perhaps I am early, for once?" She said to herself, before sitting down on the ground and putting her back against the wall, reading her grimoire. "They're all right." She thought to herself. "I go to a festival and I decide to read..."

LeBlanc gazed down at the festivities, sitting languidly in an ornate chair positioned to overlook the entirety of the festival. There were two; one for Swain as one of the main benefactors of Zaun's research and LeBlanc's own, as one of the main proprietors of information coming from and to Zaun. The chairs were located in the highest Stage Box of the coliseum, opening both out to the festival and the Vaskervon Coliseum, where the summoner's continued their work under the scrutiny of LeBlanc's gaze. A truly strategic position.

Nothing escaped her eyes.

There were so many interesting figures here. Karthus had come on his own reasons, a few others with more than an average "presence" followed suite, exploring the attractions.

Two stood particularly out, though for different reasons.

Cassiopea had come, surprising considering her...condition. It seemed that she had finally developed that long awaited backbone she had lacked before. No doubt, she had potential in her...

The other was Éclair. The leader of Sin Hearts out in public? Her confidence was not misplaced. LeBlanc had seen her growth, her power. Her position was not undeserved.

But why was she here?

"Interesting, what a potent catalyst, all it needs is a spark..." LeBlanc trailed off absent-mindedly.

"But who will provide the match? hmmm.... I wonder."

LeBlanc gazed down at Éclair, giving her a small wave and a very rare nod of respect and acknowledgement. No doubt Éclair would sense her gesture.

With that, LeBlanc leaned back once more, looking around with a bored expression.

Blackheart was doing something quite abnormal today. He was taking his family to this festival not because he wanted to, but to allow them to enjoy themselves. In his mind, this festival was very off to say the least. With the introduction of the purifying crystals and that man, Yankith Malvon, everything seemed to bright and good. Suddenly half of the city's pollution was gone and a festival of this magnitude shows up. It was a 'different' turn of events from the norm, and Blackheart was still very suspicious. He has even placed among the crowds of people, specters who much like Phantom's shades relayed information to him. The necromancer had even ordered some of his apprentices here in case something was to go wrong. This paranoia had its cause, and this was because of a single-worded note given to him by a contact whose job was to deliver urgent messages from a close ally of his. This note had the word "Prepare" written in a daunting manner. That was some time ago, when the note was delivered. By the time of the festival, Blackheart had been preparing for every possible disaster. It only pushed him farther to do so when his ally went dark with communications cut. For now Blackheart was going to enjoy the festival.

Sophia and Jane were enjoying the celebration quite well. Jane in particular was enjoying it even more because she had brought along a friend. In her arms was a soft, adorable creature who Blackheart reluctantly allowed to come with them. They went from stand to stand while enjoying the clean air provided. The necromancer too had a smile on his face but only because he was with his family. His senses however picked up on many interesting and strong figures in the crowd. Powerful souls and energies were in abundance here, and he knew it was possibly from the champions here. Then there were other sources of power that were more unique. Nevertheless, he enjoyed the festivities with his family.

Jane walked around in a rush seeing interesting inventions and potions. Though she was really in search of cotton candy. This was one of her most favorite snacks, and by coincidence it was also her friend's favorite as well. The blob in her arms then shifted suddenly in a direction and Jane saw in the distance what is was. A stand that seemed to be selling fluffs of something pink. Before anybody could act, the blob scuttled off after the sweets with Jane chasing after it. Blackheart would chase after her but was stopped by a hand pulling his cloak. Sophia gave him a cold gaze before clinging to him, telling him to not worry. This prompted Blackheart to kiss her on the cheek and walk after the two in a more composed manner lest he faces a scorned woman. Meanwhile Jane maneuvered through the crowd to catch up to the waddling blob who was still on the scent of sweets.

Salsphere's growling and hissing were just drown out as the animal man backed up a bit, sensing Sal did not find his gazing too welcoming. Instead the man scoffed and sat back down, looking at his various other creations and shrugged.

Éclair met very little interference going through the crowd, whom saw her in a bad mood supposively. Though, they had not learned of her real intentions of finding some savory treats somewhere in this festival. Rather, with her mind set Éclair passed by various attractions like alchemist's booths or tech vendors, eventually she began to see people around her carrying some food. The range was enormous from meaty products to small packets to candy. And luckily, off the corner of her eye Éclair spotted kids running past her with something that 'looks' like cotten candy. Though in Zaun one shouldn't assume things, for now though she was headed in the right direction.

Though, Éclair did see an unusual sight pass in front of her, as a dragon of some size strolled along picking up the smell of meat. Gortavil was nearing various booths, as the smell of cooked meat was growing stronger by the second. However the dragon was also picking on other odd scents, and despite his aplitude for detecting decay or other substances to the point of identifying them these scents were new to him. However his mind snapped back to reality as he spotted the meat booth.

The booth was fairly normal, a typical butcher's set-up with a furnace in the back, open fires everywhere as one can hear the sizzling of meat on bone. The dragon had seen such things before however what immediately stood out above everything else was...the color of the meat. Blue, Red, Green, and Yellow colored meat was being served to patrons, and it was not something of a discoloration either as would be the case in unprepared or uncooked meat, but the colors were vibrant, absolutely irregular! However before any questions could be raised the sign nearby explains things in clear human text-

"Come try Beoyg's Element Meat! Try the hot, and feel the burn literally as flames come harmlessly from your mouth! Want to chill? The blue will provide an icy feeling across your whole body. All of this free!"

Karthus did in fact detect another corrupted being somewhere in the city, but it would take him a bit. That, and the Deathsinger can sense the watchful eyes of someone following him..

Ironically for Alyssa, she found herself in a residentual area of Zaun, away from the festivities. Though, as she was looking around she spotted kids cheerfully running towards where the festival actually was. Specifically, the kids were going to get more 'candy', or heading towards the food section...

Gortavil smells that some of the other strange smells are coming closer, but right now that isn't of any importance to him. He decided to first take care of the meat, so whatever may happen the following minutes, he would first take care of the meat. However, even the meat confuses him, as besides the smell of meat, the smell of various other things are intermingled. The blue one smells like frost, causing Gortavil to directly discard it. Cold is bad, since it kills diseases and stops decay from happening. The red one smells like fire, which Gortavil can appreciate much better. Normally fire is also bad for decay and corruption, because of its purifying effects, but Gortavil found a way around that long ago, using his own affinity for fire in combination with his less appreciated affinity. If Gortavil bothered to check the sign he would know what is going on with the meat, but Gortavil almost always relies on his nose, leading to him just noting it as yet another strange thing humans do, and eating all the red meat.

Once he has swallowed all the red meat he shakes his head, a trail of flames leaking out of his nostrils and half-opened maw. However, these flames don't look the normal bright flames you would get from a campfire, but the kind of flames you would see from setting a trash-heap on fire, looking as vile as the rotten and stinking unwanted objects it feeds itself with. When the side effects of the meat have disappeared Gortavil turns away from the booth, having eaten all the meat he wanted to eat. After all, the chances of there being any meat that would fit Gortavil's other affinity are miniscule, since the average human would rather not eat something that tastes like it's rotten, at least not when not necessary for survival. He could maybe find where the butchers leave their leftovers though... Gortavil grumbles and shakes his head again.Priorities. He had taken care of the meat, so now he'll go find that undead. Extending his nose he sniffs the air, trying to relocate the smell of the undead. It doesn't take long for him to find it, and he is pleased to find that the source has moved closer to him. He looks around and spots a human female smelling like blood. Normally that would make him focus, but for now he just sniffs her face before walking away, following the smell of the undead, and trying to keep his head high enough to take in the smell of pollution hovering above the heads of the humans.
