win win win win promo dodge twice. win win win win win promo dodge twice

your mmr would be through the roof and if you ever won a promo you would go where you deserve

Does that still work as of now? So apparently dodging doesn't take off mmr... right?

Your mmr would already be though the roof only your actual division/league would increase.

From experience Tier promos are always to tier V and you don't skip more than one division at a time.

I haven't actually tested this thoroughly though.

only 1

I had a smurf that dropped from plat to silver from huge decaying.

The most I ever skipped on the way back was 1 division. This is what I noticed:

- You will never skip division 1 of anything, that means if you are division 2, you will just get bumped to division 1
- You can't skip division 5 of anything either, once you win your series, you just get placed in division 5 regardless

from what ive seen this is how it works
Lets say for example you win 35 points a game

by some luck(or bad luck for that matter) you end up at 99 points while in Div 5
now lets say you win the next game so essentially you'll be at
99 + 35 = 100(current division) + 34 (new division)
but this is not displayed, instead the client will say "congratulations you are blah blah blah in promo"
so now lets say you win the next two games (ie you gain another 35 points each)
so your points as you win that last game is going to be
100(current division) + 34 + 35 + 35 = 204
this means you'll skip the entire division 4 and move on to division 3 - 0 points (those 4 points will not be shown).
Essentially you will skip as many divisions as you get points.
So if your MMR is SUPER high and you get like 100 points a game i guess you could move up 2 or 3 divisions lol

edit: cant skip division 1 and after getting promoted from division 1 you'll always be in the respective division 5s.

How can you queue dodge when in promo? Won't it end your promotion series?

This.

You stay in your division and raise your MMR, then after completing the promo you can jump tiers very quickly.

If you feel like your team comps or players are very bad just dodge a promo and raise your MMR - you don't lose MMR, only LP.
