SOLVED

Hello: after updating to 3.11, I closed the Riot client. Today, the LoL client won't open at all. The Rads kernel runs and nothing else. I uninstalled and attempted to reinstall, but upon downloading the lol client, the launcher still won't run. The error posted is as follows.

I am having the same problem. The client was working fine yesterday, and now cannot get past the initial league of legends symbol.

Update: As of now, the lol launcher has successfully opened. I don't know why, as even after I followed the patcher help steps found nothing worked. Perhaps that helped, but I just left it alone for a while. Possibly something to do with my ISP? (Only mentioned ISP because it was previously brought up in a similar incident with an Italian ISP)

Unlikely to be the ISP. The issue is still present for me.

Issue solved in this case:

Reinstall the client (issue persists). Restart computer, run client in compatibility mode for Windows XP SP3. Client fails. Try again (for no reason other than pure frustration) and it works. Go figure.

Willing to help anyone else with this issue, if need be.
