My LoL Client crashed after loading into a game, i got to 100%, and it crashed. Now i cant open the LoLClient at my toolbar, and i also cant delete/quit it.

I try to start a new session of LoL, but when i get to the News screen and hit play, the game just ends and goes away, but the same LoLClient icon is still at my toolbar, unable to be opened.

Please help me, i cant find anything in the forums for this problem.

I have seen this before. To see if the client is actually running you can open task manager (in utilities) it probably is. If you still cant quit it that way try opening terminal also in utilities and typing:

Quote:
top -o cpu
then hit enter. you should see the LoL client near the top of the list somewhere. Take note of its PID.

Open a new tab in terminal and type this ( with ### being the PID number):

Quote:
sudo kill ###
Hit enter. should stop the league process running. Also sometimes you can just type

Quote:
sudo killall "Leauge of Legends"
and that will work too

btw i just run the client again and tell it not to quit the old instance running and it loads fine. GL.
