Preface: This website can supposedly determine an account's MMR, saying whether or not you're above, below or where you should be in your league/division.

Could some one explain to me how this website actually works?

Is there any way to know if what it calculates is accurate?

Does anyone actually know how Riot calculates MMR?

__________

1: It calculates your MMR based off from the last 10 ranked games played.

2. No.

3. No.

Well that's kind of in layman's terms. I was looking for a mathematical response.

How do we know the algorithms they use are even remotely accurate?

Yeah, lots of people know about this. I'll tell you how to use it.

1. Click NA.
2. Type your name in the box.
3. That was easy.

... :T

That wasn't any of the 3 questions. Using it ought to be obvious.

Checked the site myself after it was confirmed to be safe.

This, probably.

If it isn't this, then it is something quite similar.

Quote:

No, because you can't see your actual MMR. This is just an educated guess most likely.

MMR is basically just your ELO, so it's calculated in the same way.
