[Suggestion] New Map Types -again

Using my amazing necromancer powers I managed to revive what I consider to be a good suggestion about new maps posted by CrimsonRippe. He among others have been suggesting diferent map types including capture the flag as one of them.

I think new maps/game types will be more interesting at this point than adding new champions. I will even consider the idea of unlockable map types if that support the development.

The problem with creating new maps is that Riot then has to spend all the time tweaking the maps and champions so that certain champions aren't overpowered on some maps. For example, I remember when Twisted Treeline first was released, gankers like Shaco and Twitch were OP.

With a CTF map, move speed boosts would be somewhat OP (such as Teemo's move quick), and any tank holding the flag could probably hold onto it and take a VERY big beating before dropping it. (A fix for this would be for buffs to be disabled on the flag carrier)

But I do agree, adding new maps would add a great deal of value to the game. If Riot is worried about not making as much money, maybe they should make alternative game modes cost IP/RP and just not have ranked mode for them. That would also make it so people would rage less about balance issues, since a win/loss on those maps wouldn't seem to matter as much.
