so I'm looking for a good build for MF. My runes are:

ARpen reds
MP5.lvl yellows
flat CDR blues
Flat HP quints.

For items I go:

Doran's blade+HP
more doran's/boots 1 when I first go back (dependant on farming)
boots 2 (not sure what to get for these, I've seen some MF's get sorc for her ult, is it worth it?)
Inf. Edge
attack speed item (LW is the tank is stacking armor, MBR is it's HP)
vamp scepter
bloodthirster (if I'm not dying, if I am I get GA next for the survivability)
GA

and it never gets past this stage. if it does, another bloodthirster or sometimes cleaver I guess.

The main question is: is this a good build, and what boots 2 should I look for?

There are tons of ways to build Miss Fortune, and it is best to try her in different ways to figure out what works best for the way YOU play. There is no "set in stone" build for her or any character for that matter.

You have the same Runes I do except for the quints, which I use Armor pen. Boots are situational item. Lot of casters then Merc, lot of phys DPS then Tabi, if you are doing well keeping out harms way and plenty of creep score/kills then Boots of swiftness.

Personal preference on items for me is not to buy anything I have to sell later, such as the dorans items since I have HP quints.

My "usual" build is something like this:
Boots +mana
Dmg item (such as Long sword) + meki
Finish Boots
Madreds Razors
Tear of the goddess (This will be built into a manamune which some ppl think is stupid on MF. I <3 the 1300 extra mana + Extra dmg)
Madreds Bloodrazors
Vampric Sceptor (can build into a Bloodthirster or a Starks)

Game will usually be won or lost at this point.. but my "usual" full build is

Swift Boots or Merc or Tabi
Madreds Bloodrazors
Manamune or Black Cleaver (If I am not having to spam skills)
Starks or Bloodthirster
Executioners Calling (If they have a healer) or Last Whisper (If I got Bloodthirster)
GA or Force of Nature or Infinity Edge if I'm doing really well since it is VERY expensive

I have seen some MF's go with multiple Bloodthirsters and a Starks. I have also seen some MF's go for a crit build and do well. It all depends on how you play, how aggressive you can be or are, and Who you are fighting and fighting with.

Good luck!

The first question you should ask yourself is: do her abilities scale with AS or AD?
The second question asking yourself: does she already have a build in AD or AS increasing ability?

After this you can prove the above posters wrong and post a correct build.

This is pure bull****. In the end there is always a build that does the most damage mathematically, and you should adjust YOUR playstyle to THAT build in order to do the most DPS possible, not otherwise.

The cookie cutter build is

Dorans blade
boots1
Doran's blade x2
boots 2
IE
LW/QSS/Banshees/Ga

So what you're saying is we should all stack 6 bloodthirsters and figure out how to play like that? it does the most damage mathematically...

Theoratically, yes, but in practice you want boots.

so the best MF build is Boots, and 5 Bloodthirster's? Hardly seems likely.
