You know something WookieeCookie? i boost a guy once one friend because i dont play to much league so i left my account at silver now actually i play when the game i normaly play is down or what ever!

Anyway i boost him to platinum that guy now he is in diamond tier..

He couldnt get out of silver because the real bad players there keep him down

So you want to ban me? hell doit..but dont say

How are you determining this? I have a secondary account where I reached gold in S2, I haven't touched it that much this season and so it's sitting on silver level if I'm not mistaken. Is it going to be banned because its current rating isn't as high as it was in s2? I worked hard for dat Janna...

So I understand that this may not be something you can discuss but how do you catch this? Like do you just look to see if accounts are logged into on different ip addresses? Should I be scared if I go to play at a friends house and go on a win streak?

Good question! We know that a lot of our players like to visit friend's houses or have LAN sessions for League of Legends. This is totally legit, and encouraged!

Our process will exclude cases like these from punishment considerations.

Hey WookieCookie,

How would we go about the process of reporting a suspected account/player doing an elo boost? There doesn't seem to be a specific place to send this in the support ticketing system.

I dont like this at all, Basically if out of nowhere we build momentum and win a bunch of games, we have to worry about getting reviewed.

Why are the punishments for boosters the same as people being boosted?
You ban someone being boosted, so what? There's a lot of them, and there can be more.
There's much less people who elo boost, making it easier to remove them from the game, in addition, taking out elo boosters takes out a whole lot of players who would buy an elo boost.

@wookie Will you ever let us see our Hidden MMR again? Did you remove it to help stop boosting?

Isn't queing with a Diamond tier player also Classified Elo Boosting, say if you're a silver or bronze player?

Getting boosted is more of a problem than boosting.
