Problem installing LoL on windows 7

I just got a new laptop with Windows 7 on it, and it seems to be working perfectly fine, aside from the fact that I cannot install LoL.
I got the .exe file from the website, but when I try to launch the .exe it just tells me "Leagueoflegends.exe is not a valid win32 application."

I'd search for a answer on the forums but the search engine seems to be broken or something, said I am not authorized to search for existing posts.

Help would be appreciated, thanks.

Oh, i've also tried to run it in compatability mode with Windows Vista (The OS that my desktop has) and ran it in administrator mode, but that didn't work.

Remove any traces that you have of League of Legends, run a registry cleaner like CCleaner, and download it again.

What DOES that do?
And since it's a BRAND new computer, it has a new hard drive aswell.. no league of legends on it.

Twinky probably thinks the download was incomplete or corrupted or something.
I'm pretty sure windows 7 64x has issues w/ league of legends.

I'm running League of Legends on Windows 7 x64. I've installed League of Legends on several of my friends' computers with Windows 7 x64. It's A-okay. ;-)

hi Dude..

I have window 7 32-bit.. And when I trying to run LOL it start loading some patches and stuck on 100% not moving after that and play option is disable. Please help...

There doesn't seem to be any issues indicated in that log.

Have you tried the following: Install the newest Adobe AIR. Start > Search > Internet Options > Advanced Tab > Reset Internet Explorer > Delete Personal Data > OK > Connections Tab > LAN Settings > Check only Automatically Configure Settings > OK > OK.

Start League of Legends in Administrator Mode and go to Settings (Cog icon next to Minimize), click on the Repair function--it should take more than 10 minutes on most machines.

Otherwise, try replacing the contents of your Riot Games folder with Eambo's pre-patched folder.
