All around stories are said of an immortal angel of death that comes in the middle of war. He sulks around in hell thirsty. When blood is shed he rises up to drink and bask in its warmth. Any who see him good or bad will always die. Aatrox is indeed an angel of death but in his own ways. No memories of his past before he woke in fire and destruction are gone. He lookes around and saw death. Felt the blood pulsing in their veins, sweat on their skin, soul ripping free from their dead bodies. He felt the urge that he had to join in, he wanted to kill like them and feel the thrill that his body gave him. He picked up a human sword and rushed in. When the sword touched his hand it enlarged and became a tool of great destruction and he knew he could never part with it. He slashed and sliced until everyone was dead, enjoying how it made him feel when their souls were released and slid past caressing his arm before going along. The very last person was across the field of bodies blood and fire. he flapped his great wings and flew across to stab him in his mid section. he watched his soul float out and slide toward his arm. His eyes followed it and saw his sword suck up the soul growing bigger and more powerful till at last it glowed in his finger tips. He wanted more but the battle was won and he again fell into sleep his sword still clutched in his arms. when he awoke again he was in a different place but there was more battle. he felt the thrill of the hunt and flapped his wings to rise abpve them all. he was in the middle of a village. civiallians were fleeing while men is armor clashed eerywhere. at the sight of his eerie beauty they all stared. he swooped down in the blink of an eye unable to control his blood lust. he moved about effortlessly his great sword thirsty after the long time spent asleep. he was drunk on death. his sword was so small the first fight, now it took 2 hands to weild it. when the battle was won he felt the drowsiness again and he fell asleep. stories raged everywhere and people drew pictures trying to show the fiersome angel they saw. every time a war was fought he would come and finish everyone off. one time when the battle was won he didnt feel tired he felt so much alive. he wanted more of this newly found drug. when there wasnt any to be found he joined the league where his bloodlust can be sated and he can seek his own path not to be led by blood and war.

So from what I have gathered we have a dark mysterious figure who appears in the midst of battle and turns the tide in a devastating way.

He accepts sacrifices or payment of bones as evidenced by the dagger and ancient drawing.

You will note that in every artistic depiction of this figure is slightly different: Noxious has a much burlier figure with jagged wings, Ionia's is sleeker in a more "regal" pose, and Demacia's is that of a calmer, more collected almost angelic being. Perhaps this is simply a result of artistic interpretation, but perhaps it is something more.

The ancient drawing has two men at what appears to be an altar. While one man is making an offering the other is overlooking: Is it a priest? Is it another patron? What is on the strange staff he appears to be carrying: a skull?

The final piece of note are the coins. In many cultures coins depict the visage or symbol of great leaders or symbols of their culture. It is interesting that these coins came into Twisted Fate's (or perhaps Graves') posession, as it means it is likely they touched many more hands prior to this. Coins aren't always used of currency. Sometimes they are used as tokens to grant favor, or grant respite- I should certainly think if a dark force was bearing down upon me I would like something to curry it's favor.

And finally of the figure itself:

Is it sentient? Is it ensuring a specific side wins? Does it care? Is it summoned or does it appear of its own will?

and most imporantly

When will the League of Legends enslave him and force him to do our bidding like we have with every other force of nature in Runeterra.

Ezreal PLEASE come back and clarify some more things. It is time for more clues.

non-serious guess: It's Kayle's evil side. Kayle, being an "angelic" being often got consumed by her anger, and turned into this evil being. Unlike her sister Morgana (who accepted this anger), Kayle tried (and succeeded) in banishing out. This purely evil side is now set on destroying the world.

But first the evil side needs the dragonballs.
