Greetings fellow Summoners!
We have all been in this situation before, throwing mad cleavers at the enemy Vayne, crushing golems, just going boss mode in game! Suddenly, sometimes without warning, you find yourself disconnected and the game itself is forced to close!
While we absolutely hate to see this happen, the unfortunate truth is that it does occasionally happen. But don't panic! There is a quick way of getting back into the game, without having to go through the Launcher, completely skipping the log-in process! The trick? Simply launch the game client itself, here is how.
Navigate to C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\RADS\solutions\lol_game_client_sln\releases\0.0.0.xxx\deploy (This is the default directory).
In this directory you will see an application called "League of Legends", double click this! So long as the game you were just in is still live, and your connection is stable, it will immediately connect to the game, and get you back up and running. Alternatively, you can go to this directory ahead of time and place League of Legends on your Desktop or Quick Launch Bar, renaming it to "Quick Reconnect". That way in the unfortunate event of a disconnect you can quickly launch the game again.
Just take note; as soon as the game is over the client will close, and you will not see the post game lobby. It is at this time that you will want to open the Launcher and log-in!
