First of all, I am an admin on the computer. I can change anything I need to. Second, I currently running a MacbookPro running OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion)

When the patch happened I got the "event log" error at the end of the install.

I tried:

A) Repair in the client settings.
B) Updated any and all OS Updates.
C) Attempted to allow it to patch for more than 24 hours.
D) Before discovering the User Kernal solution I deleted the game and attempted to reinstall.
E) When I ran it, it erred out at almost the exact same spot as it did the first time. After closing the program and attempting to re-open the game, it attempted to patch again as if it had installed a previous version.
F) Deleted completely once more and attempted a final reinstall.

NOTHING! Please help.

"Event log" error? Can you press cmd+shift+4 then hit space, then click on the window to take a screenshot, and post it here?

1) Post your system specs and logs.
2) Where is the game installed to?

Having the same issues now. It will install part 1/2 then gets an error on part 2/2. Not sure how to find the logs to show the issue.

Edit: Found the logs. Please help.

Since you didn't post your system specs, I'll ask straight out: Are you on 10.8.3, or just 10.8.0?

That's one huge log file to read through, but my initial take on it is that there's a network issue preventing it from downloading the files properly. Is your firewall on? Do you have any sort of security software which may be interfering with the download?

You may want to try rebooting your router/modem/computer and trying again. If that fails, take the notebook over to someone else's house (preferably with a different internet provider) and see if it will patch there.
