when 1st i played vayne i notice that tumble + condemn = 50% of my maximum mana
to fix that i got mana regen runes and i was quite satisfied
so it would be a good idea if there is item that gives mana regeneration and lots of ad
i can imagine how much mana ezreal is using
i dont need huge amount of mana from muramana
i am not a jungler to get elder lizard
just an item that gives only attack damage and mana regen

A good idea would be to make it with pickaxe and chalice of harmony to make it more powerful ad version of athene

i think the problem with adcs and mana is less their regen and more their tiny mana pools. a sapphire crystal doubles a level 2 vayne's mana pool and can be built into catalyst and eventually banshee's veil, a solid defensive item for late game. or you can go tear of the goddess into muramana as a fairly efficient AD item.

well if you are mana heavy non stop casting spells muramana would be the item
but we are talking only about mana regen and damage
no extra mana, no blue cristals
generally physical damage dealers dont need extra mana
they need extra mana regen and thats all

and i saw kha zix going for tear of the goddess
he didnt do well

and banshee isnt bad item but the shield is easy to counter
for example malmortius and scimitar might be better choice

Malmotius and Scimitar do nothing about the regen issue this thread is about.
Kha with a tear...? What was the issue? The Kha sucked?

I'm personally in favor of the AD chalice. They usually have tiny mana pools (as mentioned before) which means they'd get a decent amount of use from the passive.
Mix with a pickaxe to make it at least somewhat end game viable.

both those stats serve the same purpose: letting your champion cast more spells more often before returning to base to replenish their reserves.

But since they generally only need mana in a short skirmish and since their cd's aren't that short, they generally can't make that much use of a giant mana pool, which leads regen to usually be the better choice.

but if they have a bigger mana pool, they can do more of those skirmishes before running out, and since they don't need to wait for mana regen to kick in they can perform a couple of these skirmishes back to back. mana regen would be better for characters that constantly use a little bit of their mana while a larger mana pool should benefit champions that unload a large portion of their mana in a quick burst.

you mean to tell me that with chalice type for ad champs would be worst than bigger mana pool?
also no one starts with blue crystals on adc

plus look at this passive
unique: basic attack restores 2% of lost mana
its exactly for adc
