I just download LoL Client couple of days ago, but I notice everyone mentioning PBE client.

I want to ask whether there're any difference between PBE client and live client.

I'm using live client now, but still afraid to play any games, I don't want to get reported if I leave a game because of client crashing.

The PBE client connects to a special server, for testing content that may or may not appear in upcoming patches. You need a special account to connect to this server.

As for the live client, other than the rendering engine (OpenGL on Mac, DirectX on Windows) and optional software mouse, there should be no differences between the clients. I haven't had any stability issues with the Mac client that I couldn't also replicate on the Windows client.
