((This a restart of this RP. Hopefully things go smoother this time.))
((To give people a chance to work things out, no posts shall be made in this thread until after they posted in the OOC.))
A week ago, several high summoners decided to treat their champions to a nice luxury cruise through the Guardian Sea to commend them for their services. Any champion could register for the cruise at no cost, and have a full week away from the fields and trouble of the League. Summoners were given a discount on tickets if they decided to accompany their fellow champions. And all others across Valoran who saw the advertisement send out to every city-state in the League in time could board the ship for a moderately priced ticket.
The first day on the cruise, all those who decided to board the boat partied out heavily. Most of them would be unlikely to remember much of the day beyond boarding the ship. But they made one fatal mistake. The captain of the boat, who had been drinking much more than any captain should, took a detour off the League's approved path. They headed for waters that have yet to be deemed safe to travel. Over night the multiple vicious
creatures of the threw the boat into a course that would lead them to crash into a deserted island.
The island is approximately 4 miles in diameter. In the center was a dense jungle which could possibly house unforetold number of dangerous predators. around the island was a sandy shoreline that appeared to be the only safe place in which there were no foreseen threats. In the center was a large mountain that stood 2 miles high, overlooking the entire island.
The captain of the ship, as well as most of the employees have either gone missing or found dead. Some of the passengers have been found injured, but none seemed in critical condition. However, it appeared that around the entire island was some form of a magical dampening field. All magic users would notice only the most basic of magic would have a chance to function. The League is unaware the ship has crashed, and the only land mass there is can be seen 90 miles away to the west. The ship for the most part has been completely wrecked and crashed into the shoreline. The front side had been ripped apart by something large, and there were large holes and boards missing throughout the decks.
Some passengers have been thrown outside the ship onto the island, others were still in their dorms when it crashed. Many are still under the effects from the party last night, and don't even remember much of what happened. Sailing off the island seems nearly impossible, rescue is a highly improbably event, and most magic has been rendered useless. How shall the passengers survive? That's up to you to find out.
Current Time: Noon + (12 - 4 PM)
As Noon creeped over the island, many survivors could feel a cool breeze coming from the east. A large storm was making its way toward the island rapidly. While the clouds were too far away to notice before, with each hour they grew larger and closer. More than likely those on the shore would feel the first rain drop by seven.
In the forest, many of the dangerous predators have retreated into the inner jungle, opening up the outer edge to an alternative path of shelter. However it is unclear how long the jungles shall stay safe, or what anyone would find there.
Around the shipwreck, amongst the discarded bodies of the crew and the wreckage of the ship, there was to be a total of 5 possible medical supply bags still intact and ready to be used. Canned food would be plenty, but most of the drinks that had been set aside for the week-long cruise were cracked and broken. The wood on the boat itself could be used to support a shelter or build a fire, but would have to be significantly dried out first.
Character Summaries: (Note: the most recent Summary will be used. I'll try to keep this updated as much as possible.)
David got up from his room on the ship. The cruise was awesome, though he wasn't one to drink, he still had fun chatting with some friends and even meeting some champions. He decided to head back down to the main room, because he couldn't fall asleep. Suddenly he heard a loud thud, and before he could react everything went black.
David was lying on the beach out cold, when a cold wave splashed onto his feet. He groggily got up, looking around too see what happened. He saw he was on an island of some sort. It didn't take a genius to figure out the ship had crashed. He groggily got up, and began to look for his things, to his relief, his gauntlet was still on his left hand, and his knife was at his belt, but he disappointingly didn't bring his pistol on the cruise. He decided to survey his surroundings, and saw that the island had a beach, which more inland led to a forest, and at the center of the island, a mountain. He decided that he would stay in the beach and look for more survivors before heading into the mysterious forest. As he tried to move, he fell down and realized that his ankle was twisted. I hope there's somebody nearby, or i'm in trouble
((Just a little key, Italics=flashback, Bold=thoughts, and Underlined= Speaking, and i guess I'll do a my summary right away here
Time-Day 1- Morning
Health-58%, is perfectly fine except for some small cuts and a twisted right ankle
Summary- David got washed up quite a ways from the wreckage, and quickly realized he had a broken right ankle, but still has his knife and gauntlet.
BTW- David doesn't remember what happened, i just couldn't figure out a way to start it so I decided that would be a nice intro))
(( NVM David ninja posted me like a boss .... yeah, shamelessly copy-pasting. Also, post nr 1. LET IT BEGIN ))
Tybresa's first sign of life was to begin coughing violently - her whole body ached and each spasm seemed to shoot ripples of pain through her muscles. She groggily opened her eyes, only to find herself face-first into ... sand.
She did the mistake to gasp before raising her head from the sand dune, taking in speckles of dust. Her throat was burning and she could feel the need to throw up rising. She tried to haul herself up, only to stagger back down. Her summoner robes were drenched with salt-water, making it hard to rise up. She gave up after the third try and closed her eyes, wallowing on the shore, the waves occasionally washing over her body.
What in the Nexus just happened?
She was trying to trace back her memories - a cruise ... yes, it was a cruise. The Council of Equity thought of a plan to reward the champions for their hard work, so they organized a luxurious and expensive cruise. She remembers that - the High Councilors wanted her on it too, commending her for the good work she did for the Institute as the Senior Steward. She refused, but eventually gave in - even she couldn't pass up on such an opportunity.
But after that? She boarded the ship and ...
Tybresa felt a jolt of energy in her, enough to finally pull herself up from the sand she was buried within. She gasped heavily as she was laying on her back - where did this pain, this exhaustion come from? What happened to the ship ...
She gritted her teeth and propped her elbows behind her, holding herself up to look towards the ocean. The sight was shocking - pieces of flotsam and debris were floating close by, the waves gently nudging them towards the shore. There was no other sign of the ship. Tybresa sat up, trying to fight the pain in her body and the waves crashing against her, trying to push her back into the sand. She had a dumbfounded expression on her face and spoke out in a raspy, low voice.
By the Nexus .... We crashed.
Health: 56%, drained from the barrier spell casted prior to the shipwreck, has multiple cuts and bruises, swallowed a lot of salt-water and her robes are tattered and wet, which might cause a cold if she's not careful.
Summary: Just woke up, retracing events and taking in the situation she is finding herself in.
Time: Day 1 - Morning.
(( EDIT: Was wondering whether anyone's OC/Champion were around when Tybresa channeled her barrier, thus ended up being protected by her up to the point where all hell broke loose and then this scenario occurred? Food for thought. ))
On the shore, Ezreal was found half asleep as the waves crashed half his body. The cold water rushing up across his face woke him up suddenly. He shook his head, wondering where he was. Last thing he remembered was getting on the ship for a week long cruise. He took a survey of his surroundings. He was washed up on a jungle island. But wait, there's no islands in the Guardian Sea...was there?
He sat up in the muddy sand, his head hurting heavily. What happened last night? He looked around, wondering if anyone else was washed on shore, when he spotted the wreckage that was once the ship. He stood up as best he could, and walked over to examine the ship. Surely someone was still alive right?
He looked around to see what was round him. It was just natural for him to be wary of his surroundings
Health: 79%, Minor headache, bruised arm and legs, but nothing he couldn't handle.
Summary: Woke up with a major headache to the crashing waves. looking around to see what is around him, but hasn't actually stood up yet.
Time : Mid-morning
Jericho Swain was sitting in his room in front of his desk, writing a very private journal.
But suddenly, the whole ship shook ((Try saying that 3 times, fast)), knocking his pen out of his hand.
-Could it be the waves?- Jericho was wondering. He did not care much about it, and went over to pick up his pen again. -The captain must be a bad one if he allows for this to happen.-
But before he could pick the pen up again, another quake, if it could be called like that, happened. It knocked him over.
Angry, Swain stood up and rushed out of his room, but by the time he reached the hallway, all lights have gone red, and the alarm went off. -What is going on here? Useless captain.-
Swain rushed past six rooms, trying to go to the front of the ship, to the main deck. Sadly, before he could reach it, another quake shook the ship. It's force so strong and violent, the floor opened underneath Swain and he fell down through the crack. Luckily, he managed to transform mid flight before falling down and getting impaled on one of the lower floor planks that was broken in half and pointed upwards due to the floors breaking apart. His scepter fell in that crack, lost forever to the seas.
One of the sailors that were running around with life vests ran up to Jericho Swain to help him, but as soon as he came Jericho grabbed his whole head with one claw.
He separated the plank from the floor, and proceeded to pull it out. To recover his wound the drained the life of that sailor, and threw him, along with the plank, away into the crack.
He started running around the ship, still in bird form, trying to find a way to the main deck.
While making his way up the starts to the floor where his room was a mighty force broke through the wall next to him. It's as if something bit part of the ship off. The stairs were now unusable, so he used his claws instead. He buried his claws into the sealing and proceeded to claw his way up to the second floor.
There, many people were running amok, and he decided not to turn back into a human, as he could move about much more easily. Women, men, all kinds of faces passed by him, but it mattered not.
There was too many people. So hard to move about. He opened his mighty mouth, and beam of dark energy shot out, making a hole in a wall near him. He decide that the best route would be to just blast his way to the main deck, which he did.
Finally, after an exaggerating ten minutes of running though wall, Swain reached the main deck.
There was noting left of the bridge, there, on that goddamn main deck which he tried to reach so hard.
There were fires everywhere, and the ship's emergency shielding was activated, yet it was obvious that only a few of the nodes that put the shields up were still active.
Rain was pouring, gigantic waves hitting the ship, lightning revealing scales that occasionally surrounded the ship and thunder trying to be louder than terrifying roars that echoed all around the ship.
The giant raven Swain roared in rage, but instead of battle, he was met with a gigantic mass, covered with scales. The mass, looking somewhat like a tail, hit the ship right next to Swain.
The force was so strong that it lifted the two ends of the ship high into the air, as the area that was met by the ''tail'' sunk deep into the water. Swain dug his claws into the floor, or what was left of it, trying not to slide down bellow the thing.
And as it lifted itself up, retreating away from the ship, it was clear that the force split the ship in half.
The two ends fell back into the water, and Swain's claws detached from the floor due to the force.
He was about to fall into the water, but a cable, wrapped around his leg, stopped the fall. He was hanging there, from the ship, upside down as a battle raged around him.
Sadly, his story was not over. He was trying to cut the cable, but the ship kept moving so violently that he was constantly hitting the ship's outer hull.
And then, all of a sudden, he turned back into a human. -Wha...- He couldn't even finish his thought before he hit his head on the hull, falling unconscious.
Swain can be now found hanging off that same cable wrapped around his leg, on the wreckage of the ship. His bird is flying around him, constantly squawking and biting the cable, but she can't seem to bite trough it.
((Sadly, unlike david, I sometimes use bold to highlight a word in a sentence. Therefore, Swain's thoughts are done in this form -[text]-
Name: Jericho Swain
Health: 83%, Swan's head is bruised and he has other minor bruises all over his body, due to him constantly bumping against the hull of the ship
Summary: Unconscious. A cable is wrapped around his leg as he is hanging from the wreckage.
*Brand awakes on a strange desert island, laying in a dune of sand. His head is pounding, probably from all the drinks he had consumed the previous night. He remembers a loud noise, and the sound of a chandaleir swinging above him. He was knocked out, but before he lost conciousness he remembered hearing something, something ugly. Something must have come up out of the water and made their lives a whole lot more difficult. Brand sits up, groaning from the throbbing in his head. He tries to walk, but goes down on one knee. He must rest for a while. He looks around and sees his guards are missing. He is overjoyed at first until he realizes two things: he is still stranded, and he is still chained with his anti-magic cuffs. He sits down and lets his mind mull things over.
Name: Brand (Or Kegan Rhode)
Health: 80%, his very hard fiery head prevented damage from the chandeleir, but he is very hungover. His leg appears to be in pain as well from being thrown from the ship.
Summary: Wakes up in a dune with a splitting headache. Is currently stationary trying to gather his thoughts.
Rick woke up to see that he was on a beach. That's weird, did the cruise already end, and seeing him asleep, tried to wake him up, but failing dumped him off on the beaches of Demacia? That wouldn't make sense though, for one, the cruise was scheduled to go longer than that, and this doesn't look like any Demacia shore he knows... He slowly got up, finding that he had no injuries on him, and that his waterproof notebook(which he had gotten specifically got for this cruise) was lying on the sand near him. He also found his pocket knife and survival pack(a gift from his dad before he died) were where they usually were. He got up, feeling a bit groggy, but otherwise fine. He decided to head towards the jungle, maybe he could find a village nearby, and ask them which direction was Demacia. He couldn't wait to tell his superiors about all of the great stories he had, who knows, maybe they would even give him a raise. But trying to think back on the cruise, he couldn't remember anything. He decided he probably just hit his head a bit to hard, he'd give himself some time to remember. He began to near the forest now. He drew out his pocket knife just to be safe, if something was in there, he wanted to be able to defend himself.
Alex(Rick) Ricci, 12 year old male
Health-94%, is lucky, as he was not injured in the crash, except for a small headache
Summary- Rick thinks that he has not crashed, and that he is in Demacia. He is now walking towards the forest hoping to find a village to point him to Demacia
Sukiru had the unpleasant experience of having his cabin on the lower floors of the ship, as such, while he was passed out from a night of drunken partying, his room was flooding. He awoke still inside to water which he nearly choked on. With panicked reflexes he force himself up, looking around he managed to get his way out and swim to the closest shore he could find, he looked around groggily as he gripped his head in pain from the hangover. "What is this place..." he muttered to himself as he tried to bring up his memory screens, a flash of panic crossed his face as he realized he couldn't. He closed his eyes and sensed the anti magic barrier preventing him from doing so. "What the hell." He was so tired... With a grunt he let his body rest into the sand.
health - 90% not injured, though very confused and has a fairly large hangover.
summary - found his way out of the ship and managed to swim to shore, currently laying in the sand half asleep.
Time - day 1, morning.
Quinn found herself passed out on the beach, face down in the sand and her body thrown in a very uncomfortable position. Valor was standing over her, guarding her and examining the area around them, when he couldn't recognize where they were he started trying to wake her up. At first he simply nudged her slightly, seeing how that proved ineffective he let out a loud, ear piercing screech.
Quinn shot up, confused and dazed. "Who what!?" She looked at Valor, about to scold him when she realized where they were, she sat up, looking around. "What the..." She slowly pushed herself to her feet, frowning, just now noticing the pain coming from he side, a large cut stretching from her armpit to her waist. "This isn't good...Val, look for survivors." Valor flew up into the sky, scanning the area while Quinn began walking around the shoreline, she didn't see the ship which means while she was unconscious the tide must have thrown her away from everyone else... Valor eventually made his way back down, shaking his head. "None around here huh? We might be the only ones here then... I just wish I knew what happened." With an irritated grunt she began walking along the shoreline, hoping to find someone else.
health - 50% Badly injured, fatigued and alone.
Summary - Woke up on the beach, injured and began looking for others.
