Yay. My typical ranked 3s team runs Zyra/Brand bottom (solo), Kayle/Lee/Diana/Elise jungle, Darius/Zed/Jarvan IV (top). Having a jungler gives 3 sources of experience constantly, the ability to move through the map smoothly, and incites fear on the opponents of being ganked (during the early laning). We do NOT run smite on the jungler, however. We mostly run flash+exhaust while the other two lanes run flash+exhaust/ignite.

Yea.

I almost always jungle in 3s; usually, when I don't, it's because one of my friends wants to and I'm playing with him. When I do jungle, I always take Smite, because it significantly speeds up golems early and counterjungling and/or Vilemaw mid-to-late.

You can successfully jungle with a wide variety of champions in 3v3, because you start with more money and can recall more frequently. This means that even champions who normally wouldn't jungle, either because of mana/health issues or because they would need better items first, have a relatively simple time doing it. For example, I like jungling with Elise, Singed, Heimerdinger, Ezreal (when he's free, since I don't own him), and any number of other strange options. Since you can start off with a Philosopher's Stone or Kage's pick plus potions, or even a Vampiric Scepter with a health potion snuck in at the last second before running to golems, you can clear the jungle quickly while maintaining good health on most champions, with the primary exceptions being carries.

Give it a shot. See what you like. It's definitely worth trying. My only caveat is that there are still a LOT of people who don't understand that jungling in 3v3 is not only viable but effective, and they will treat you like dirt sometimes--and, worse, they will send somebody bot who can't clear the lane quickly, leading to cs loss rather than gain. Jungling is definitely more effective with friends, who will actually communicate with you and not overextend too much or decide on a silly comp.

I've never considered jungling on TT... My fiance is an avid jungler on SR, but I bet she'll be interested in trying this idea.
