this was from my experiment to get out of elo hell.

I tried to make bronze 5 account.
I made level 30 account, tried to lost every placement match
( accidentally won 3 ..)
3W 10L placed on bronze 3.

Played few games I got bored.
I invited my friends to play with me.
silver ~ gold players.

We won every game we played (6 game played)

later when I soloq alone
my mmr was so high everyone in the room was in s2
while my account is still in b3 (....)
and I was first pick (twice in a row)

moral of the story
if you are getting l~2 LP per win
ask friend in tier above you to duo with you
then win 3-6 games

when you duo it tend to go with highest mmr of the group
ex. s5 & g1 = g2-g3
ex. b5 & pl1 = p3-p4
when you are able to beat them multiple times (only3-4)
your mmr will increase.

better than winning like 50 games in ur soloq
(problem : you may lose all the duoq)

i doubt duoing raises it faster i would actually put money against it.

then why when I soloq with my bronze 3 smurf account,
everyone else in my queue are in silver 2?

If MMR gains are anything like ELO gains from the previous ladder, then yes, if you are a lower tiered inidividual duo-queing with a higher tiered, you will gain more.

ELO gains and losses were based on the average ELO of your team compared to the enemy team. So if your buddy was Platinum, and you were Bronze, you would gain more than your friend would, and also lose a lot less than they would. But that in turn also made them gain less, and lose a lot more.

talking about your ranked mmr not LPs
though higher mmr will grant you higher LP per win

My appologies, I meant to put MMR. I'll go fix that.

Except when you duo with people really high above you, you only raise your MMR very small amounts while you win a lot of LP. This means your rank will quickly get behind your MMR and it will be very hard to rise until you legitimately get your MMR up by either playing with people near your own rank, or win in solo queue.
