There are several AD Supports already in the game, such as LeeSin, Gangplank and Jarvan IV. These champions cannot generally solo-carry a team, because of long cooldowns or poorly scaling abilities, however, their aoe-team utility bolsters AD carry and AD Bruiser teammates heavily (e.g. Gangplank's Raise Morale or Jarvan's Demacian Standard). Granted these types of champions can be strong during any specific phase of a game if fed, but the fact their champion toolkits have team utility (rather than all damage dealing skills), makes them have strong team support roles vs champions like Xin or Vayne, who can only deal damage, not help teammates.

If you mean support as in a force multiplier that works better in duo lanes or team fights than solo lanes, and if you are only talking about those champs that have abilities that scale off of ad, then I present jarvan4, gp, thresh, and Kayle.

However, unless they release a champ that has a targeted heal or shield with ad scaling, what you really mean isn't going to happen. Ad is for damage, period. Ap is the go to stat to increase magical damage and healing both.

Also, itemization... There's what, one or two support items that also have ad? How many have ap?

Supports aren't AD because to deal constant damage you need a lot of items to be able to sustain yourself. On the other hand, AP supports thrive because they can build support items which traditionally include CDR at some point or have some kind of AP in them anyway, which allows them to spam spells that help other people. An AD support would have little use of their skills and just deal damage over time, but probably be squishy anyway.

So if you want an AD support, you pretty much are asking for dual ADC's bot, but one's weaker.
