5 Reasons the OLD Twisted Treeline is BAD.

1 - Too many champs could jump walls. Example: Top laners dashing through the wall to instantly be in the bottom lane. (Tryndamere, Gragas, Nidalee [Cougar form could jump the majority of walls], Fizz, Renekton).
2 - Mages were all useless. (All except Mordekaiser since he's a pusher).
3 - Bruisers had a HUGE advantage. Example: You're Shyvana and you're getting bullied by a Kennen top lane. You go into the top jungle, farm a little, grab some buffs, go back to lane and kill Kennen. If Kennen was being bullied, he wouldn't be able to kill the jungle for gold and buffs because mages can't jungle early game.
4 - Wards and snowballing. Example: Your team is losing 2-6. Those 4 extra kills allow the enemy team to ward the entire jungle. You're now forced to pick between: Warding / Damage. If you ward, you don't have enough damage and the enemy still has more wards. If you pick damage, the enemy has total map awareness. If you decide to go the warding way, and the enemy notices, they will be able to afford oracles/pink wards and you're forced to play with no map awareness all because of a little extra gold.
5 - BACKDOOR. Example: 45 minutes into the game, you manage to kill 2/3 of the enemies. Perfect chance to finish this, but wait, how did Master Yi get into our base? Two options: Turn around / Go B and watch him flash over the tiny wall to safety OR try to finish the game before Master Yi takes 5 more seconds to finish your Nexus. It isn't very fun to LOSE a game when you've played very fairly to win with honour.

5 Reasons the NEW Twisted Treeline is GOOD.

1- NO BACKDOOR. Example: Since the wall beside the Nexus is thick, champions can't run in, attack your nexus and jump over the wall (Except for Kassadin).
2 - Altars. They can work for you or against you, however, anybody can activate them. Example: If you play a squishy mage, you still have the power to take an Altar as opposed to needing raw damage to get a buff from the jungle.
3 - Promote Teamwork. Example: Since there are no wards on the map, you need to rely on your teammates for MIA's or group ambushes. In the old map, one person could win the whole game by taking all the jungle, being sneaky, and dashing through all the walls (I'm looking at you Lee Sin). Remember, you may be a good individual player, but the best plays come from a team.
4 - No Turtling. Example: You're winning a game and you're siege minions are keeping the enemy busy so you can jungle or spider. In the old map, you could lure the siege minions into your fountain laser so taking an inhibitor wasn't much of an advantage.
5 - Choices.Since the new Twisted Treeline introduced new powerful items, it gave players more choices and option. Example: You can now pick mages and melt tanky bruisers with item's like Blackfire Torch. Where as before, the only option you had as a mage (besides Deathcap) was Void Staff.

MY OPINION: the ONLY problem i have with the new TT is the fact that now EVERONE likes to invade mid/jungle at the start, if someone doesnt make it there in time, then they lose the first teamfight, and usually after that is likely a lost game.
A GOOD SOLUTION TO THIS DISPUTE: why dont they just add the old TT as a map for custom games and done? just like proving grounds, we can make custom games (similar to ARAMS) and make everyone else who wanna have some fun happy?

oh yea, have the 2 maps, but naming the old one as "OLD Twisted Treeline" or naming the new one as "Shadow Isles Twisted Treeline".

I'm not saying the new one is horrible or anything but to have the old one by its side would add alot more variety

All im saying the old one would be nice to have back sure it wasn't a perfect map but They probably will never have a perfect map. I vote bring it back and change certain factors about it
