I think he means the hero Spectre in Dota, whose Q and ultimate are very similar to Nocturne's. Spectre has a far creepier voice though (I have come here a stranger, lost. (http://www.dota2wiki.com/images/0/09/Spec_spawn_04.mp3) - if you can understand her, her quotes are actually pretty sad. 'What did I do wrong...' (http://www.dota2wiki.com/images/7/76/Spec_death_06.mp3))

Nocturne Q: Nocturne sends out a shadow blade in a line that leaves a Dusk Trail on its path, dealing physical damage to enemies it passes through and causing enemy champions hit to also leave a Dusk Trail behind their movements for 5 seconds. While on the Dusk Trail, Nocturne ignores unit collision and gains bonus movement speed and attack damage.

Spectre Q: Spectre flings a dagger to draw a Shadow Path, dealing damage and slowing the movement speed of any enemies along the trail. Units hit by the dagger also trail a Shadow Path. While treading the path, Spectre phases through otherwise impassable terrain.

Similar trail-to-catch-up-with-enemies idea, difference is that Spectre's is not a skillshot, slows enemies over speeding you up, and lets you move through walls on top of moving through units.

Nocturne Ultimate: Nocturne reduces the sight radius of all enemy champions and removes their shared vision for 4 seconds; this includes champions, minions, wards, towers, and clairvoyance.
While Paranoia is active, Nocturne can launch himself at target enemy champions, dealing physical damage.

Spectre Ultimate - Haunt: Creates a spectral nemesis to attack each enemy hero after a short delay. At any moment during the duration, Spectre can use Reality to take the place of a given illusion.
Haunt illusions are uncontrollable, take extra damage, and deal less damage than Spectre herself. They move at 400 base movement speed and ignore terrain.

Spectre Ultimate - Reality: Spectre physically possesses a chosen Haunt, giving it solid reality. The other illusions remain for the duration of Haunt.
(You learn Reality when you put a point in Haunt)

This is a little less obvious, but both are used to cross great distances in a flash and scare their whole team.

Ergo... if Nocturne was in Dota, he's be Specturne?

If Nocturne was a door, he'd be Knockturne.
