[Game][Critical] Near Total Graphics Failure

Description:

On creating a custom game, the League of Legends game client does not seem to draw anything graphically ever. Eventually the game finishes loading, and the announcer and ambient noise and music can all be heard. I can click and use keyboard to interact but visuals simply do not happen. The screen stays at loading.

Command tabbing out and back in seems to force a draw to what would be the current frame, but only once per tab in and out, and the graphics are incomplete: the hud is missing and menus when brought up are invisible.

Reproduction:
1. Create custom game
2. Choose champion and lock in.
3. Watch League of Legends client come up and display the champions and fixed loading percentage forever.
4. So far have experienced 100% incidence rate.

System information:
Late 2011 Macbook Pro running 10.6.8
2.4 GHz i5 dual core
4 GB RAM 384MB video RAM

Hopefully someone can either tell me if it's me or the game that's broken! Note that repair is not an option for me at current, as the launcher simply displays a black screen in an identical manner to the issue I have with the game client.

This is not a common problem and is likely an issue with your installation.

I suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the client, since the repair tool is not available to you.

AMD Radeon HD 6770M graphics processor with 1GB of GDDR5 memory on 2.4GHz configuration. Then of course they have the usual built in graphics card, Intel HD Graphics 3000 with 384MB of DDR3 SDRAM shared with main memory.

If I were to take a guess it looks like your graphics card fails to load all the textures on at once. You might need more video memory.

Have you tried starting the client using your on board graphics; as opposed to your external GFX card? obviously not an optimal resolution; but this could determine if this is a compatibility issue with Mac+Your GPU, instead of an installation error.

If it still occurs on the internal, chances are it's a corrupt install (Could be a firewall or permissions problem in this situation as well, restricting certain parts of the installation).

Also; is this only happening on the PBE client?

As of right now Mac testing is only in the pbe isn't it?

Sounds like the mac client, as it is a macbook. Not only this, but the person who posted does not seem to have a dedicated GPU, only the onboard intel 3k, as they originally posted.
The post by killrazor is just a apple support page explaining the computer model, which could very well vary.
The 13" model only has the intel chipset graphics, which could likely be the cause.

I'm under the interpretation that the OP and Killrazor are the same person; because he mentioned he had both the AMD Radeon HD 6770M, and the onboard chipset. His post also came immediately after the reds question, and he specified a specific AMD card, where the support page lists 2. If it was just a random person copy pasting things off the site; I would think they would list BOTH possible cards.

If this isn't the case, Then derp on my end! I just assumed because of the content of the post.

Yes, I should have been abit more thorough.

Do you utilize bootcamp or similar services, and if you do, are you able to load a normal game with the windows based live-client.

also; even his onboard supports the minimum requirements of the game (unless they are very out of date) The Intel HD 3000 supports DirectX 10.1, and Shader 4.1 (minimum requirements are shader 2.0)
