Melee carries have amazing survival ability . Such as Yi ( yeah , he kills to survie ) or Trynd ( great ulti ) or Olaf ( the same reason with Trynd ) .v.v.v.

Melee playstyle has changed.

You can't just rush in headfirst expecting to deal massive dmg and not get CC'd.

Melee carries are played more like assassins nowadays.

Wait until team forces opponents to use their CC. Run in and clean up kill lowest HP enemy.

Rinse and repeat.

Melee carries are not as straightforward as they used to be with so many new CC champs available now.

Too many times, melee champs jump the gun, get CC'd and killed. You need to know the right time to enter a team fight and/or gank.

Experienced players realize this and that's why they can still carry effectively while playing Xin, Yi, Trynd, etc...

A good opposing team is going to save their CCs for you regardless. And since everyone packs ghost/flash and said CC generally has a cooldown of five seconds tops, you're not going to be able to kill that 2k-hp caster. Ever.

Jax is such a hard carry that in late game he can q,hit,w,hit,e,hit,r,hit,w,hit,e,hit,w,hit,e,hit, and then q onto a creep and run along with a pentakill.

Right, anyway they dont need to save their CCS, they will be up for anytime the phys dps appears.

Maybe some changes in the casters CD's will help
