General Purpose of Teemo's Buff?

Well I'm trying to understand what direction the buffs are heading towards. So he can have mushroom reservoirs, and I guess he's supposed to use them in team fights? Ok, but what's stopping the enemy team from focusing you when you're trying to put the mushrooms on em?

Is he suppose to support a team comp built around kiting? Just kinda curious how this change would affect him.

they're trying to buff him into an AP teemo, how he was originally created to be.

Teemo

  • Stats
    • Base movespeed increased to 305 from 300 - this is very minor, doesn't really change anything
    • Base damage reduced to 47.5 from 51.3 - here we see some of his base dmg being turned into magical damage, this is added onto toxic shot on hit damage. This is a big change
    • Damage per level reduced to 3.0 from 3.3 - scales with leveling toxic shot
  • Camouflage
    • Fade time reduced to 2.0 seconds from 3.0 - situational change, great if you can juke enemies then fade else i don't see it helping much
    • Being invulnerable will now prevent Teemo from Camouflaging. Specifically, Zhonya's Ring and Guardian Angel's effects will block Camouflage while they are active.
    • Recalling and Teleporting will now prevent Teemo from Camouflaging - These two changes could be called bug fixes, but its still a situational huge nerf.
  • Blinding Dart
    • Duration reduced to 1.5/1.75/2/2.25/2.5 from 1.5/2.0/2.5/3.0/3.5 -huge nerf
    • Cooldown reduced to 8 seconds from 10 - okay buff but imo doesn't make up for the huge nerf.
    • Blinding Dart will now cancel autoattacks in progress when the blind is applied - useful
  • Move Quick's tooltip will now update to display the effects of cooldown reduction
  • Toxic Shot per tick damage reduced to 6/12/18/24/30 from 8/14/21/28/35 - quite a nerf, hurts when laning and harassing.
  • Toxic Shot on-hit damage increased to 9/18/27/36/45 from 8/14/21/28/35 -at lvl 18 with lvl 5 Toxic Shot, Teemo has turned 9,2 attack damage into 10 extra per hit damage on Toxic Shot, however he still lost 20 damage over 4 secs per attack.
  • Noxious Trap
    • Teemo now gains a "stored mushroom" charge every 30/26/22 seconds. Maximum three charges - this allows teemo to place much more mushrooms without losing time in lane and much more. This is an insane buff.
    • Each cast requires and consumes a charge
    • Time to gain a charge is reduced by cooldown reduction effects
    • Time to gain next charge does not progress while you are at maximum charges
    • Teemo always has two charges stored upon reviving at base
    • Cooldown on placing a trap reduced to 1 second from 20
    • Damage changed to 250/475/700 from 350/500/650 - overall buff i think
  • Recommended items updated -yay
Teemo turned some physical dmg into magic dmg autoattack, his camoflage will now work in new situations, Blinding Dart got nerfed by the lower cc, lower cd change they apply to many long cc spells and his mushrooms got a huge buff.


Teemo now seems like TF: A utility magical dps. (good movement and mapcontrol, good cc, scales with ap and applies magical dmg onto their attack).

hes outclassed by other dps's but he can still hold his own with his utility
