Singed's toss is absolutely nothing near Tiny's.

Tiny's toss grabbed a random nearby unit (enemy OR ally) and threw it at the target location, dealing AoE damage to wherever the tossed unit landed. This naturally had a myriad of uses. Toss your initiator into their team to help him initiate! Blink dagger onto an enemy champion and rape his face! Blink dagger onto an enemy champion and toss him into your team so that your TEAM could rape his face! Or grab an allied unit in danger and toss him under the safety of a tower!

Singed's toss is braindead in comparison to Tiny's, frankly.

way too close to exhaust, in fact, just looks like exhaust only worse. Why would you want this?

Tiny is one of the greatest, most fun heroes in DOTA. He is fun to watch, fun to play, and definitely makes the enemy think twice before engaging. His mechanics allowed for great playstyle and many "clutch" tosses/grabs.

Singed can feel rewarding if you toss an enemy into your team or away from them, but it's such a tame ability that it isnt nearly as awesome as what Tiny could do.

The ability worked on allies and enemies. It had a myriad of uses beyond what exhaust is capable of, and was much better than a heavy cooldown requiring mastery points for its full use.

I should add to this that one of the reasons Riot won't implement stuff like this is because you can grief people with skills like this. Such a ******ed reason. Just do what HoN does and put a button next to the other player's portraits for whether you want to be able to be tossed or not. PROBLEM SOLVED

Except that solving the "problem" in that manner would be incredibly taxing and difficult, from a programming standpoint. I don't think you understand the implications of adding an entire UI change that's modular based on one particular ability. Having to completely remake the entire client just to add one ability is silly and ridiculous.

This is one aspect of Riot's design standpoint that I agree completely with - Abilities that can be used negatively towards your team have no place in a game like this, particularly ones that cannot be reacted to. Anivia's wall is the closest that anything in LoL comes to that sort of ability, and even that has had problems (see: MacLaren).

Except that solving the "problem" in that matter would in fact be quite simple. If the button is toggled on for a certain player, act like said player doesn't exist for targeting purposes. Assuming Riot's codebase is -remotely- sane, that shouldn't be an issue. (If they aren't using a modular UI -already-, that's incredibly surprising.) They already have a full game running. Adding a button that sets a boolean to true isn't that hard.

Also it isn't just one ability. Assuming it were like HoN's, then the button would be to toggle on/off the ability to have potentially harmful abilities in general casted on you.

The fact is that "it's a potential griefing hazard" is a 100% bull**** excuse.
