Greetings Summoner!

With the recent changes Rengar has received it is believed that he is unable to fill his role as a Jungler. His camp clear times have become much worse with the nerf to his "Battle Roar" (-5% Heal & Less AOE Damage). This is easily correctable by purchasing Madred's Razors, however having to go that route leaves little option to in fact get his own character specific item. With the changes below I hope to fix both his Jungle capability and the reason to purchase his Bonetooth Necklace!

Why you ask; should we give him this get out of jail of free card? Well simply, if he is able to maintain 14 Trophies I think he should have the option to escape instead of only being able initiate with his Ultimate. This will give Rengars a small chance to keep the hard earned Trophies, which is a large reason no one buys this item.
As you will see by purchasing this item and maintaining Trophies will restore him to the glory we once loved, but most importantly he will be able to jungle effectively again. Keep in mind, he will have to *not die* in order to keep the old bonuses.

Classick and I are currently working on buffing Rengar back into a state where we feel more comfortable with his gameplay. Some of the changes include re-increasing the stealth duration back to create the prowling feel again and adjusting the W heal to be a flat heal based on champion level. We're still working out all of the specifics but we know we took a faulty approach to Rengar's balance for the past few patches."

Not bad :P
But it will require Rengar to snowball with his nerfed stats (or at least be getting assists) for him to get anything out of it.

Have bonetooth build from Machete?

I honestly don't care if the necklace gets buffed in terms of stack bonuses, but making it a replacement for Razors is an excellent option

The whole reason Thrill of the Hunt's stealth is delayed when receiving damage is because riot doesn't want it to be used as a "Get out of jail free" card. They went in and specifically added this effect for that reason.

Fair, but don't you think if Rengar get's 16 trophies he should be able to have a get out of jail card with his ult to try to maintain these trophies?

I really like these changes to be honest, it adds a lot more choice to the player and keeps Rengar on par with the other Junglers!

The Bonethoot necleace fix is really good, but they should do something about his Q ad ratio and general CD's because rengar is an ability champion. needs to use abilities again and again to fully take advantage of his passive, without that he's not rengar just a tiger with armor

since the bonetooth necklace is 800g

i think should be made it from a hunter machete

so in that way rengar can have a good start in jungle with the machete but instead of getting razor he can go straight to his personal item
