Edit: 1/10/2013: Bug Resolved! Many Thanks to Dart from Riot Tech Support.

The Client crashing is from X3WatchPro, an Internet Filter/Accountability program. X3 does not advertise that it uses hidden McAfee Firewalls and Internet Filters, which cannot be disabled unless X3 is uninstalled completely by the Administrator of X3. The end result is this: Make sure every firewall is compatible with League of Legends.

Steps I took to resolve this issue:

1) Uninstalled Norton 360 Anti-Virus Program - still crashed
2) Disabled Windows Firewall - still crashed
3) Disabled Ipv6 - still crashed
4) Disabled Services and Start-Up programs in MSCONFIG - still crashed
5) Disabled X3ProWatch - Finally no longer crashed

That is it folks. Hope this helps those of you that experience the same issue.

Original Post:

Before reading: A Network Info Log, Process List, and Network Analysis has been sent in to Riot Support with each update. This issue is currently UNRESOLVED. Thank you for your patience if you are experiencing the same issue. I am working with Dart through Riot Support to narrow in on what is causing this problem to happen.

The client crashes when I click Continue after a Victory or Defeat. This has happened after every game since the December 14th, 2012 patch.

When going to Task Manager, LOL doesn't show up in Applications.

LolClient.exe *32 and LoLLauncher.exe *32 show up in Processes though.

I can still hear people chatting through my speakers (the sound effect it makes when people type in the post-game lobby), but visually the game is no longer running. All I see is my desktop and I can interact with my desktop normally as if nothing has happened.

I have Googled this problem and I saw posts about it:

http://www.google.com/search?q=lol+c...hrome&ie=UTF-8

The Riot staff suggested running the repair tool found in the upper right hand of the launcher. I did and still have the same problem.

Please help. Thank you.

Edit: I tried reinstalling too. It did not help. It has to be this last patch. I know it.

Edit (12/24/2012): I recently submitted a ticket at support.leagueoflegends.com since I have yet to receive any help.

Edit: (1/1/2013): After waiting patiently for a reply from Riot Support, I finally got a response. I will paste that response here and I will keep you guys updated with the final solution to this problem (if any) later.

Hello ,

Thank you for messaging me! Based on the information you provided regarding your client crashing at the end of a game, regardless as to Victory or Defeat, this seems like a problem with your connection to our servers. Most often, these connection issues are caused by overzealous firewalls or anti-virus programs. Even if you have no active firewalls that you know of, many firewalls are installed automatically with Windows, so you may have as many as 3 and not even know it. Additionally, many Firewalls have processes that run in the background after disabling them, which still cause significant interference with our game.

We have a detailed guide to configuring your Firewalls to work properly with League of Legends:

However, even when properly configured, the disabled modes or exceptions lists often do not function properly for 3rd party firewalls. It would be much quicker to temporarily uninstall your firewalls from your computer. This would allow me to quickly rule them out as a potential cause of the problem so I can get you back into the game faster.

If you're uncomfortable uninstalling your anti-virus and firewalls, I recommend replacing your current software with Avast, which is free for home use. It even has a disabled/gaming mode for getting the most out of your system while playing League of Legends.

If the problem persists or you need further help with my instructions, please don't hesitate to contact me. When you do, providing this information to me will allow me to help get you back into the Fields of Justice as quickly as possible. (Make sure to provide this information even if you have already done so. We need to get information that is as up to date as possible):

1) A Process List: http://support.leagueoflegends.com/e...a-process-list

2) Network Analysis: http://support.leagueoflegends.com/e...twork-analysis

3) NetworkInfo Log: http://support.leagueoflegends.com/e...etworkinfo-log

Edit (1/5/2013): Two more posts from Dart. Both didn't resolve the issue.
Thank you for responding back to me! After reviewing the information you provided, i believe there are a few steps yet to be taken in order to resolve this issue. First and foremost, after a review of your Network Configuration, it appears that you are running a program/connection known as Hamachi. This program has been known to cause serious negative interactions with League of Legends. To that end, we will need to make sure that this program is completely uninstalled from your computer in order to rule it out as a possible root cause.

Additionally, from reviewing your Network Analysis, it appears that you may have a problem with your DNS connection. This issue has been known to cause connection issues with League of Legends. Because of this, i strongly recommend switching to a public DNS, which may resolve the issue you are experiencing. Make sure to follow all of the steps to this guide very carefully:

Thank you for responding back to me! I'm very sorry to hear that we have yet to resolve this issue! After reviewing the latest information you have presented to me, I believe there are a few steps we can take. First and foremost, it appears that your IPv6 connection is still active. Please keep in mind that this connection has been known to cause severe connection issues with League of Legends. Make sure to follow the steps in this guide to completely disable this connection:

Additionally, after reviewing your latest Process List, it appears that there are several 3rd party programs/processes running in the background that may be negatively interacting with League of Legends. To ensure that you do not have any unwanted programs running, please perform the following steps to perform a clean boot. I have included a step-by-step article (with pictures) as well as a text-only list of the steps for your convenience (note that they perform the same actions).

I tried disabling firewalls (another recommended fix in the forums) before my game this morning and it still did not fix the issue.
