After the issuance and installation of new patches (and consecutively for several months of patches) there has been an issue where in game the mouse cursor does not correspond to the point at which it is pointing on the screen.

The cursor moves normally, but mouse clicks fail to register under the cursor. Various parts of the interface -which change based upon the mouse moving over them- do activate, but do not correspond to a fixed displacement of the assumed cursor position to actual cursor position. For example when the cursor is moved a short distance lower and to the right of a button it will highlight as if the mouse was over it, however slowly moving the mouse causes it to flicker. Clicking is possible but inconsistent.

I suspect this issue is caused by the patching process itself.

FIX: This issue only affects the first game started after a patch, manually closing the program, and restarting allows the game to reconnect and the mouse to function properly without any configuration changes.

This system uses Nvidia GeForce drivers and a high resolution 2560x1440 display.

Seems to have been fixed, or not invoked, with the second patch today.
